Hey Paolo, congrats........your car's bad azz.......i guess since you got your hood, you had better luck with Intense Motorsports than i did.......they screwed me around for a month and a half on an exhaust, and in the end i had to cancel the order

Dr.Bondz, I said hello to your Z today when I was at AA. I got a ride in Mike's car today and man was I impressed. I think I am going to really consider getting this. Hopefully I'll learn and see more in a couple of weeks on dyno day.

Thanks for making my car feel at home Ed.

For a minute I thought you were going to say that Mike took you for a ride in MY car! Heck, if it had the Procharger in it already I would not have minded. As it looks, I don't think they have even started on it. I hope soon though.

Alright, time for me to chime in with a few questions.

For those of you up and running already. How is the low end torque compared to before? The reason I'm asking is because Mon/Tue my NISMO cams are to be installed. I'm getting different info from different sources.

Some tell me don't install the cams with supercharger it won't work. We need special cams for this setup.

Some say thats wrong, these cams will just improve this setup even more (actually vice-versa procharger, will improve cams/heaers/exhaust setup)

Some say it will be fine, I'll just lose bottomend but uptop will increase. To be honest, we can only go so fast over here anyway. I don't think I'm too concerned with the topend after the procharger. I want instant quickness, ATI will take care of the rest!

So please, a little help/info from those in the know.

Mahalo nui loa.

I lost bottom end but my torque is like 313?
A 9lb pulley will give me more bottom end but I have an Auto I suggest a 6MT will do better on low end. I think a CAM would compliment it nicely.

I love that hood man!

If you wanted to upgrade in stages, what modifications to ECU or fuel pump would have to be made to run larger injectors on a stock setup? Can it even be done?

Hey Max, how's the 5AT liking to the extra power? Do you feel any slip in the gears?

I'll probably stick with the 7psi, but i might step up the injectors a wee bit anyway

No slip but loss of low end. We are talking milleseconds for it to hit 3k rpm's but it's noticable from launch. I can tell.

I changed exhaust completely though too.

More torque so it can't be that. It's wide open exhaust dual and headers that are killing my launch. A 9 lb pulley will fix it and I *am* going to go for the 9 lb pulley I am only seeing 6.2 boost so I have head room due to the Crawford Plenum and Borla headers and true dual. That should up my HP and TQ.

How much torque do you have after the installation?

I posted a Dyno graph it was above 300 IIRC. It's when boost meets back pressure that matters from what I have read.

I've been trying to read this post as it grows, so hopefully I'm not asking for something that is already in here.

Has anyone posted any video yet? I did see a short clip of Z pulling back into a shop, but nothing else. I'm sure everyone is dying to see more footage.

Andy

PS. I can host if anyone needs it.

Those RC injectors, do you know how fine the spray is? i've heard from a few of my tuner friends that their spray is quite wide and tends to pour in thicker than a ultra fine mist...

DIY or STFU???

(From your avitar handle. )

No one has used them yet it's a loaded question, DIY and find out?

I am offended by the info in your handle FYI.

well... if a particular injector isnt spraying efficiently, its definately not worth saving a few bucks just cuz its available...

i am going with a brand which is not Nismo.
