Default Got to chime in here on some TGIF Kudo's

Kudo's to Mike and Kudo's to Sandy and the team at ATI.

I have an OFFICIAL tracking number that puts my kit on my DOOR Tuesday morning. No more guessing or wondering it's a real tracable number AND Mike emailed me and ATI called me withthe good news.

So Borla stuff Monday at my door (headers CATBACK)
Already got my GReddy EGT

Tuesday ATI KIT!

Now I have to make an appointment but I have a feeling this thread is gonna have some links to pics etc very very soon as in next week!

Have a good weekend and thanks Mike and ATI in Kansas especially Sandy!

Hey Max, excited to hear someone on the forum exploring new frontiers. Best of luck to ya!

Have a question though, does it have a boost controller? I'm reading through their website but can't find any detail about it. Thanks in advance.

No boost controller is needed. The boost is determined by engine rpm and pulley ratios. The kit pulleys should put it at 7 psi max boost. Boost is linear as rpms increase. In order to change max boost, a pulley change is required.

One word of caution. Be careful with Procharger and new products. I had one of their first P600B's on my Mustang and couldn't keep a belt on it to save my life (along with everyone else around the country). I believe they eventually got it figured out, but that didn't help me any. I think that's probably a good piece of advice for any new products. Waiting to make sure they're tried and true can save you a lot of headache if you can stand not being the first one on the block to have the product. Hopefully this isn't the case with the 350 or we're all screwed!

Great info thanks for sharing it.

I know it's Friday so no rush but can you ask Mike about the cylinder pressure and flow in realtion to my Crawford Z Plenum and if this would effect where I tap into my Borla Headers?
Mike left early today to head out to an event in Ohio so i didn't get a chance to talk to him about it more. I'll ask him about the plenum and headers on Monday.

Because extensive Dyno research from DougsZ did prove that certain cylinders were starving for air and I want to do it right the first time. My air flow will be different than the ones with stock plenums. This info may benefit others too as more people decide to switch plenums or do other mods that add more air.
I'll be sure to bring this up as well. Do you happen to have a link to DougsZ's post about it? I would love to look at the data, and I'm sure Mike would too.

Also do they make a Y that would tap into both sides passenger and driver or is that wishful thinking? You could have two taps then a Y into the SS braided hose? By the time it reaches the collector how much do you think the temp may have changed? Nil or moot?

Thanks again for representing the product the group and Mike we all apreciate it.
They don't make a "Y" that I know of. But a few of my buddies have made their own. They have a probe in each manifold and ran them to a 2-way switch and then to a single gauge. That way, both banks can be monitored, but only one at a time.

As for the temps in the manifolds, I have not seen exactly where Mike tapped the probe yet, but he seems to think that the temp will not be much lower at the collector than it is exiting the cylinders. I'll see if i can get him to throw it on the lift on Monday and check out his probe location so I can give you guys a better idea.

Glad to help! I'll see if I can't get those pics up soon. It's late and I am working on Z's tomorrow

I am working on it now. We are also working on all our product pages so hopefully they will be up in a few weeks. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please feel free to PM me or give us a call!

Update for you guys.

I just got off the phone with Sandy at ATI (she is very nice and extremely helpful!). She said that they are hoping to be all caught up on orders this week and next week they should be back on schedule. They have been bombarded with orders for these things so they are doing their best to keep up!

Stay patient guys, it will be well worth the wait

Default Got mine today at 10:00 as expected

Thanks ATI. Baseline Dyno's will be run this evening after it coold dow. For those who drop shipped like I did expect a 6 foot long box weighing 90 pounds (no joke.) I took it out in my Explorer with the seat folded down it went all the way to the back of the truck. My install starts tomorow too but I am doing Borla Headers Borla True Dual Catback and a GReddy Wideband EGT so they will have my car at least till Friday.

I snapped a few pics the box was jammed full and neatly packaged. The comments were man this thing is top of the line, "this is going to be fun."

The installer kept running back into the boss saying look it this it has brackets, .... "look at this inter cooler." .... man this thing has it's own fuel pump hehe this will be their first and not their last for sure. Can't wait to run this beast meanwhile I am gonna post a few pics I took. I will be back out there Thursday to check progress and take some more.

Cool Troubles posting to the site

real slow, let me try the FMIC again.

Still not working site not loading pics, let me post to my web page for now. Ever since Comcast bought ATT my Broadband has been crawling along slower than dial up

This is the best I can do for now unti lComcast gets it together.

http://home.comcast.net/~wegetourmai...e-skip-40.html

As for ATI's repution, Sandy called me, Sue called me and they even called Kieth at Force Fed today to tell him if he had any install questions to call him. This installer has been dealing with them for years. If you have any doubts....., Don't!

The install manual is TOP NOTCH! Plastic Covered individual pages stickers, cards with serial numbers.

Great Job ATI!
