Id suggest selling the turbo, and picking up a stillen centrifugal supercharger for your hr. Bolt on...kinda, carb legal(if that's important to you), and you can take your time doing exhaust and building the block for more boost...and I don't remember if it comes with a warranty.

Thanks for the replies and from what I've read it seems the stock internals are pretty Good for a low boost. If I'm looking at spending 5-6k on a turbo kit would I be better of spending a bit more on a supercharger?

It all depends on your power goals, and they way the if makes power.

A sc supercharger makes the engine feel bigger.
Turbos, it's all sizing.

Nor did he ask to be "done right price:

But for 50k... I would get a used gt500, slap a smaller pulley and an exhaust and be at 560/560 for less than 35k with car

So I'll need to rebuild the block if I want to run a centrifugal supercharger?

Idk I got a vortech sc v2 for 1800, a free greddy emanage blue( did not like), a free 255l fuel pump from a wrecked evo...then 380?420? Injectors for 200ish. Then a free(well I traded some stuff for) meth kit...it was super fancy and had a boost gauge and stuff built in( it was like a 400$ kit I can't remember the name). And I borrowed a buddies wideband for awhile. Just ran a cone filter on my intake upto a place in wa...that's not around any more. A couple hundred for the tune. I feel like it was done right...minus the emanage....and the borrowed wide band.
Not saying emanage is bad...I just feel like there is better options now. And I didn't trust that place... But not going there.
So less than 3 grand. Counting the sand which filter and lines, time refining the inter cooler, the belts, other misc stuff.

I did research on lots of builds but none of them with a supercharger. Haven't really thought about getting one since it's a but pricey

Nope only if you crank up the boost with smaller pulleys or abuse the heck out of it.
