here was mine. Its a 120$ part and a few hours of your labor. It drained 5 quarts from my motor in a couple minutes. By the time your warning light would blink, your motor would be toast. It was just too trivial of a part to leave to JB weld.
What does it look like now after that good old gray and black treatment?
A big blob of mess. lol. I'm gonna start it today after work and see if it leaks. If it doesnt, Im putting more blob on top of the blob on top of the blob on top of the blob. lol
ok so today o turned on the car and there is a leak but its very small. I went for a drive for about 50 miles and it went a quart down. Well this kinda sux so tomorow, im gonna start taking out my oil pan for a new one.
so last nigth i went on a cruise and i checked my oil level about every 10 miles for 50 miles and the oil stayed the same. The leak stopped somehow but im gonna swap out the oil pan anyways cuz i need a peice of mind and gotta stop worrying about it. LOL
Yeah the biggest reasons I havent done it is cause 1) its holding 2) its a pain in the *** and 3) I don't want a leaking rear main seal because of the swap.
