just get a 4 to 3 reducer coupler, come straight out thru the hole in the support, use a bent pipe with a filter on it, easy.

I ran my t67 wide open for 2years with no issue...even without a screen. Im mostlikely going to make some room to fit a 4" pipe. Im not going to reduce it down to 3"..that would defeat the purpose of doing the 37 with the 4" inlet.

Get one of those 8" flat strainers from Wal-Mart, and bend it over the edge of the 4" inlet and use a hose clamp!!

Hey that's an easy fix and better than nothing for sure! Powerlab should at least provide this to prevent large insects and debris from getting in. A couple layers of steel mesh will provide most of the protection you need.

No it won't defeat the purpose. The main purpose of the 4inch is to have the anti-surge. A 4 to 3 reducer with a filter will provide that turbo with plenty of air.

mine didnt come with an anti surge housing..according to Han..my turbo is a t3 gt35r modified to make it a 37r..larger wheels I think? But the part number on the center section is that of a 35r.

Thanks!

Im going to cut that tonight..along with trimming the bumper itself a little on the bottom edges. One thing though..I did have to cut/bend alot of headlight brackets inorder for the intercooler pipes to fit..I gouged the hell out of it.

yeah the pipe would not fit between the the frame and that blackmetal brace. I gouged the pipe pretty bad..good thing you cant see it haha. I had to do it on both sides actually.

As far as your AC line goes. Make sure the spring is inside the fitting. Its what locks the new line in. If thats gone it'll never click. I had a brand new FX here at work that came in with the line apart and the spring was missing.

That looks like waaaay to much work. Kudos man. And good luck with the rest.

PS. My guess for the heater hose is for driver's side CCV hook up to air inlet? (that's a wild guess)
Hey raj

the kit does come witha nice green filter.... but this is a gt37r version... so it doesnt fit, unless you start "bastardizing" the radiator support. I doubt he will have any trouble but he can alwasy add a screen on the turbo too.
OH well, just get some damm videos already Mark.!

Either way, a 4 to 3 will be fine for that turbo.
