Ok I did fix one big issue(lack of sleep to blame) But I only calibrated one o2 sensor when I made the new tune..fixed that and the car runs so damn smooth now..however I did pull up the full list of corrections and I have them all off and the car still starts to lean out as it gets hotter......

Weird. Can you run a trace of afr, battery voltage and actual injection time and see if they are all related?

Post up those DW injector dead times. If the battery voltage drops as the alternator heats up, you may be seeing a drop in voltage. In addition, the radiator fan coming on may cause a drop in voltage. The lower voltage will mean lower fuel pressure. You can compensate by raising the dead time for the 13 volt cell in your injector dead time compensation table.

Put up a gauge for voltage and see if it drops. You don't happen to have a fuel pressure gauge also, do you? I bet that is dropping too. Just bump up the 13V column a little bit at a time and I bet it'll be perfect.

Yeah I have a voltage guage stock and on the turbo timer...it does drop down to low 13s..cars gettin better every day though.

Ok well..the car runs excellent..just still has the backwords coolant temp correction..

This car makes no sense..this morning(very cold) it was running so lean the car kept shutting off..so I DO have to add fuel in the morning..and it leveled out as soon as it warmed up.....and then it seems like it gets lean again up top..maybe I just need to tweak the dead time settings...???

I would recommend just adjusting post-start enrichment for the temperature you saw this am.

I tried a little experiment - running the car hard and the sitting idling with no AC. I have one fan that comes on and that keeps the coolant pretty cool but the engine bay gets HOT. I then turned the car off and engine temps skyrocket. Started the car after 3 mins and my AFRs started going lean also. My fuel pressure dropped from 44 psi to 40 psi. My battery voltage was constant. I reversed my ATS fuel correction table to add fuel for temps above 150 degF. and it brought everything back in spec again.

I believe this is caused by the fuel lines getting hot and vapor forming in the lines... Perhaps the fuel pressure regulator is returning fuel in this condition?

just take it to a tuner, have them adjust AIT's and coolant temp compensation maps and input the correct values needed at those temps. its time consuming. and one you think you have it right for that hour, the next morning it will be different.

I actually fixed it yesterday. I talked to Hal and I made some adjustments to the air temp corr. and added it at idle as the air temps rose..fixed the problem. Hal you go way above and beyond the normal customer service bar..again thank you. Car runs so nice now.

On another note...I actually used the o2 correction to tune my car and it worked great. I set all max values and basically when the 02 correct would say anything below -5 or anything above 5 I would make small +-adjustments and eventually it went from shitty to within 5% everywhere..the cars gas mileage went through the roof after figuring out how to use the o2 correction and it helps if your tune isnt dead on..within 5% is good enough for me though. the only issue I have left now is the boost roughness..but thats not related to the haltech.
