My mistake..I thought you were referring to a different thread. BTW those are some pretty harsh words. I would say he decided to merge with another shop because he didn't want to deal with the day to day business BS and from what I know of JT, he wanted to just build fast cars and tune.

It's not a route I want to go down though. I just want my damn tranny back as I can imagine everyone else just wants to get their gear and get going. I'm missing out on a TT'd Vette I was gonna buy because I can't offload 1 of my Zs and have no room for another car till then. Really pisses me off too.Experiences like this I think are gonna keep me out of the tuning game moving forward actually. I've been thinking about this for a bit now and I'm remote to any good shop and dealing with stuff remote has been a pain with multiple shops now as they're all too busy to manage stuff properly or too far away to get it done.

I know how you feel....and you are being a gentleman about this...I know I would have been off the hook with my reaction if I was in your shoes....
Take it from me...dont give up on the FI community...not all shops do business this way..and thats a FACT.
When I first went FI..the shop I picked to do the work had to keep me updated with either email or phone calls...and I HAD to have pictures...pictures of every phase of the job.
Usually a shop as big and as well known as SGP does not treat their customers this way
