Car tuned rich as hell... took months to get unintelligible dyno charts...

++ The "bar" of promises from Mark was so high with assurances of "friend prices" (blah blah) ....my mind was bludgeoned. Of all the parts and components that he put on my car he gave me 0 info on or background or even receipts...I don't know what was done... am stuck doing hours of back fill research.

Things aren't as Utopian as we would like them to be, and hence, the information that was to have been relayed to us yesterday was not. I have put in a call to Chris to request that the pics and final break down details be provided to us today. As Chris is a full time, certified Nissan mechanic, the work that he does for us is his secondary hustle and I'm sure that his schedule is pretty busy. To that extent, I will post the details once they are given to me (and hopefully pics as well). At this point, however, as Rude stated earlier, the only known details that I have are that the torque converter was in used condition. We have already pulled the trigger to get the new torque converter ordered up. Thanks for your patience -- especially Eric's

I did speak to Chris a little bit ago. We discussed the majority of the results of the breakdown and I am waiting for an email with all of the pics and a full, detailed (dirty) laundry list of issues. I have decided that the complete results will be provided to Rude and it will be up to his digression what to and what not to post.

Here we go. I received an 18pg PDF from Stan/Chris this morning.
Rude advised me to post the results. Enjoy...
Notes: Per Chris, the Pro Torque Converter is in new condition in terms of use. I.E. -- to Chris's knowledge, it has never been used in a transmission. He and I are puzzled as to what could have caused the wear on the outside of the converter. The obvious, good news, is that the Pro Torque Converter is in new condition (non-used)
EDIT: THE TAB THAT YOU SEE ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE TC, THAT'S MOUNTED TO THE CASING, IS A TAB WE PLACED THERE TO KEEP THE TC STABLE DURING SHIPPING

Last (until Mon/Tues when Chris has the chance to open up the valve body):
Note that there were some pics that were left out, but were redundant to the evidence. It's obvious, from this independent analysis by a 3rd party Nissan Master Tech, that among other things, the most horrific result is that of the drum discs having been installed dry. The proper installation technique is to soak them each in fluid for at least 2 hours. Therefore, regardless of anything else, the trans would have self-destroyed within a matter of minutes if it had been installed and driven (even lightly).
Chris will inspect the valve body on Monday. He stated that it is in new condition (never having fluid ran through it) and therefore it will be easy to visually inspect the spring color to determine if it was at all upgraded.
We thank Chris, again, for his hard work and professionalism in this inspection process. It's unfortunate that the results would have been catastrophic for Eric's trans, and equally as unfortunate that we, a respectable shop and builder, were sold a product that was obviously very very poorly engineered and would have been disseminated under normal driving conditions. (This statement applies to Marshall, and the issues with his trans as well).
