Parts waiting to go back on, but unforseen delays, the build was delayed a bit, no car for Labor Day weekend, but Frank and Dave are doing good work and the end result should be worth the extra wait.[/QUOTE]

Is that a Supra with all the parts on top of??? Im glad progress is bein made.. crossin fingers this time around..

Yea it is. Last time I was at F:T Dave said it was for sale. Not sure of what the background of the car is though.

I had no idea it was going on my car or I would have broght the one from my stock block. It is truly ugly, as is tdhe rest of the motor right now IMO, but if it runs I can make it pretty later.

Cass what happen to your Fluidampr ??
Dave wants to eliminate as many aftermarket parts as possible so the build is more cookie cutter for the time being. After the car is running, we will add components back on so if a failure happens we will have a likely culprit. $400 pulley as a paperweight for now

Thanks go-fast, that may be the ticket. I'm still coming to grips with losing my blue powder coated timing covers, they were pure sex.

+1 for Bobby. He's towed my car a few times and does a good job.

The car is Running

Start up was Thursday and everything went smoothly. Dave is putting some road miles on the motor with no boost for break-in and tuning begins later this week. I am very happy that the car is out of "paperweight mode" and the days can't pass fast enough till I get it back. The car has been down so long I'm not sure I will remember how to drive a manual .

My heart breaks a bit every time I see meet threads and pics, there have been a ton in the Mid-A this summer and I haven't had a running car for any of them. Hopefully there will be a mild winter and I will still get to have some fun with the car before putting it away for the winter, if not, I'm headed south to see Mike & Terry in FL.

If all goes well I should have pics and possibly a dyno screen shot on Friday and if anyone sees Dave on the forum tell him to stop posting and get my car on the dyno please.

I was just in NVA to visit linh's mother. I saw a car that looked just like Cass's with a nice front mount, on the side of the road with oil under it.

Glad to see it's running! can't wait to see the #s, make sure you have someone post pictures of your face right before you get into the car. It should remind us all what we looked like the first time we saw *******.
