Is frank and justice being there while it's being tuned, I vaguely recall that earlier in the thread that they were going to be there. For the sake of everyone involved they should be there since the tear down showed no mechanical failure nor machining error(or tuning error besides slght det). Not saying it's Dave fault but for his sake he should have them there so they all over see the progress and there's no doubt in anyone mind and no chance of finger pointing. Good luck I think everyone hoping for success

Everything went smoothly yesterday, Frank and Franz were not able to attend because of the schedule delays that had been realized earlier in the build process.

The car laid down nice power, but ran out of fuel sooner than the previous setup. This was explained to me as more than likely being caused by both turbos operating at full efficientcy and pushing more air , perhaps Dave can chime in with a more technical explanation and a TQ #. The car pulls super clean with zero smoke out the pipes either on or off throttle.

Anyway, the car put down a max of 615whp @ 20lbs in shootout mode . I'm having the fuel setup installed now so we can make a bit more power and run another 5lbs of boost or so. Thanks to Dave, Mike, Robbie, Kevin and Tuna for hanging out while I was there. I will have the car back in a week

Lots of vids coming later after I have time to sort through some of the footage. Mike has an *** whoopin camera that obviously takes great pics.

Oh, I almost forgot, my car was evaluted for and article in Import Tuner Magazine and was "found to be lacking a bit in the aesthetics" department. I guess this means that because I don't have graphics on my car it's not mag material .

It would be nice to be in a writeup as some sort of validation for all the effort put into this car, but the stealth look is just more my style on the exterior .

615whp peak on a DD is FAST, but that power curve makes me cry for Chris

Really great news! Engine bay looks busy. Add a full Nismo V2 kit and that'll fix the aesthetics issue.

Car looks great Chris. Congrats. What psi do you plan to run on W/M vs running race gas? That's a lot of power - you may want to just leave it there for awhile before turning up the boost. Honestly I think you'll enjoy a power level lower than that for the street where you find a nice balance of worry free traction and solid acceleration. Modulating boost with your right foot to avoid spinning the tires in all the lower gears is no fun (imo for a dd) but if you can get a Vipec tune that can gradually increase the boost through the gears, that might be the best of both worlds.

Oil pressure has been holding very well. 30PSI+ (partially due to the high idle). At about 85% duty cycle I could not get any more fuel into the motor even after a bump in fuel pressure. This indicates that we're out of pump. I have to assume that this is due to the fact that we've got more airflow since one of the turbos isn't blocked partially with a rag. I feel like there's more in the setup but it was leaning out to mid 12's up top.

SWEEEEEEEET
Power sounds about right for a DD and you ran out of fuel at about the right point too for one pump.

Can't wait to see some vids with you behind the wheel!!!!

Maybe put the rag back in?
