8000ft would be nuts!! Will see some nice runs on that considering the built guys were seeing speeds around 140+ on the 3000ft. Mike you will top out your car and still have plenty off room to stp with those brakes you have.

8000ft runway = over 1/2 mile of slowdown for a mile run......thats more than they have at the texas mile. Any chance we can find someone with some timing equip for some standing mile stuff???

And if he ever has a problem with one of the heads, he can swap one of the calipers in its place. They are big enough and have enough passages

What about talking to the guys that run ZDAYZ and have them make this part of the weekend. This should help get money and sponsorship. How much is it going to be for spectators.

A suggestion to find a 1/4 mile drag strip and rent it out was posed. That would be fun too and less expensive and more cars could participate. I'm down for anything and this thread is open to anyone's opinion. Feel free to voice it.

We could use that as a back up plan if approval for the airstrip does not go through... Anyone disagree with that? People with experience with other such events, feel free to chime in - good or bad.

Raj are stock block guys going to be able to join in the fun again this year? I will bring an extra clutch line this year. The broken one last year was FTL!

On a side not if all goes well I will not be stock block come may.

Drag strip would be fun and really show off skill, but then we have more chances of cars breaking. Im keeping an eye on the thread, we'll see what happens next year...drag strip separates the men from the boys

Whats up everybody?

All the paperwork and legal issues can be taken care of easly since we already have a company to issue the insurance policy.

I am all for a longer runway, but keep in mind we already have somthing setup that was fun as hell but didn't have enough cars.

I am down for the same location, but we must have at least 20 cars to make it a competetion.
