So what's the status of this event? I hope the air strip is lonnggg, some of these cars dont get really moving till over 130mph, and shutting down at less than 160mph is no fun and too short a run from say 60-70mph, but that is only my opinion.

 

 

Im going to try to cage the car before ZdayZ/this event if the runway is long enough.

It's been 2 years since Ive been to the track and the itch is back bad. Next season Im taking names (or breaking parts)

I might be slow in a straight line, but put some curves at the end of the runway, LOL.

 

Curves would make it better for me also But dont misunderstand my post... What I am saying is..this coming even is going to be much bigger than last years if you are going to include it with the ZdayZ event.

Trust me...Raj and Dil would like nothing better than to get a short runway to prevent my turbos from spoooooooling

I see said the blind man. I actually took mine to a drag strip, what a joke. I think I ran a 13.7~ at 104.~ absolutely pitiful. Rear springs are too stiff to squat, front tires are too wide, and massively underwhelming horsepower for a drag race, LOL. When Sharif Tuned my UTEC it was like ~249 on his DYNO and I think the times are very reflective of that. That I suck at drg racing now.

I'll probably bring my Metro up to zdayz next year, if it is ready. Trying to make 120 WHP in a 1200 pound car. 1.0L 3 cylinder, LOL. I wonder how many will be able to keep up with the metro on the dragon? Wouldn't you hate to loose to a Metro?

 

I will drive mine off the dragon if I were to lose to that.

LOL...I was there when you were getting it tuned at FP.....not bad for a NA. I am not the best at drag racing either.....I could pull a 14.0 @140

I am sure the metro would be hard to keep up with on the dragon

it is no ordinary metro:
Bilstein adjustable shocks, with coilover perches, 250 lb/in springs, 2" drop
14x7" wheels with 195/45/14 Toyo T1Rs
Headers, VW carb, Haltech, XFi cam, straight exhaust
GTI Rear sway bar/MR2 front sway bar
4 pot calipers up front from an Austin Mini/10" rotors

Still looking to upgrade the rear brakes from Drum to disk, and do some body work.

HP:LB ratio ~ 1:10

But it takes you 2 days to hit that speed! When you coming to MD so I can jump in an M6 and bust that M3's a$$!?!
