Dil, bro, e-mail or PM me when you read this.
I need to gauge interest in a bigger and better 2009 event. There's a small possibility for getting access to a huge 8000 ft runway this time around. It won't be cheap, so sponsorships and paid in advance tickets for drivers and spectators will be a requirement.
At this point, looking to gauge interest from Sponsors and Drivers.
InjectedPerformance and Forged Performance get first dibs on what they would like to see happen for supporting the event last year. (I will call you guys next week with more details.)
If there's no money or not enough cars (20 would be a good #), then no point going to the trouble. And it will be a lot of trouble to get the type of sponsorship and media coverage I have planned. If it's rained out, it will turn into a photoshoot in the rain (a make up day will be unlikely). No guarantees and no refunds with driver fees on the order of $200. Just the nature of the beast. If you think that's too much, feel free to say so, but I won't count you as interested. It's not that the money is necessary as most I anticipate will come from sponsors, but it's needs to be enough that people show up and honor their commitment.
Nuff said - let's hear who's up for an afternoon of TOP SPEED FUN!
Sponsors, I'm looking to get coverage from one of the larger enthusiast periodicals, and commitment is not expected until those details are firm. This is just to gauge interest. Feel free to PM me rather than posting.

Within 2 hrs of Fontana NC (per Google map). That's all I can say right now. Don't want to upset anyone when nothing is confirmed and no agreement is in place. Please don't start guessing and posting. Suffice to say it's not too far from ZdayZ and it will be a very nice venue.
