Then you can put a large catch can in between. That's the purpose of the catch can. Just use large diameter hoses so the hose itself does not impose a restriction for gas release.

I run a baffled catch w a breather off of it from.the drivers side valve cover.
I filtered each valve cover instead of a crossover tube. And I added a breather on the pcv.
I just bought a v1 arc catch can.. so now that I am officially a fancy pants..
ill route which ever filter gets the nastiest to the arc breathing can and call it a day.

Issue is there isn't enough heat in the bumper to cook the water out of it. So it fills with condensation pretty quick. Usually have to empty it once a month.

I have a brand new built engine top and bottom but with white smoking turbo with oil leaking at the hot side. was told turbo was damaged and need a new one.
Would this crank case pressure be the cause of not only the turbo but also no power being made past 15psi despite more boost ?
Tuner said it is valve float and I need to pull heads off and replace me BC racing springs on my newly built heads...
I have a brand new built engine top and bottom but with white smoking turbo with oil leaking at the hot side. was told turbo was damaged and need a new one.

My PCV hose goes to my Saikou Michi catch can , the other side to the plenum . That's the current setup.
Reading every post I see now I should use 3/8" if hose
Block off plenum port
Drill out PCV and hose to IN of can
Drivers VC port to the IN of can and tee it into the PVC (since it only has one IN) and run the OUT of the can to my pre turbo intake near filter ?
Questions
Do I need check valves ?
Am I better of using 5/8" filter on the driver VC instead of running it to can
And am I better off putting a breather on the OUT of the can instead of running long hose to the turbo intake since can is mounted near the PCV

I ended up drilling out the passenger side PCV and placing a breather filter on it, I also placed a breather on the back of the driver side valve cover, and blocked off the plenum port. Removed my catch can, check valve, etc.

3/8" on PCV and 5/8" on the drivers side right ?
You don't have any oil leaking around the breathers ? The rear drivers VC do you use a 45 degree hose Angling up with the breather on top?
The PCV how much did you drill it out, just from the inside or you drill the outside opening also ?
And the drain back valve in the VC on the inside under the PCV valve u drill that out ?
So rcdash and all the one way valves in his diagram not needed ?
I was worried with not using the catch can made for the 350z it would smell with just the breathers..

Turbo drains, -3 feed, should have a smooth fall direct the turbo to the oil pan or sump pump. The drain must enter ABOVE, the oil level in the pan. The turbo should not be mounted more 10*~20* , vert, of the feed to drain.

No check valves is best. That means not hooking any lines up to manifold since that sees boost. Turbo intakes are best source of vacuum because they are always in vacuum. (agree with last post)
Open breathers work and are simpler. Depends if you can tolerate fumes and dirty engine bay.

My current set up has the Drivers side rear VC port using a 5/18" / 16mm hose running to the pre turbo filter, the hose length is 150mm ... is there any point replacing this with the 90 degree hose and breather since its able to pull air in via that filter already?

If you are not passing oil youre fine.
If you are getting oil up there vent it elsewhere.

What about NA Z's? Do I need to drill PCV? We need a vacuum, so probably not. I just replaced my PCV with a new one, because I could blow trough it both ways with a little restriction. I just can't figure out what about drivers side. It seems like there is no PCV.

I know that crankcases connected to equalize the pressure, but is there no valve on the drivers side(I mean that port that should be connected to intake pipe)? Both my port vented to the atmosphere trough the catch can, but I'm interested why there no valve? It's causing leak, isn't it?

I know its will help with turbo, but NA engine need a vacuum... Are you sure that NA engines don't need a pcv valve? Car runs much better with new PCV, idle and AFR is steady as never before.

I'm gonna run a basic oil/water separator with filter removed at the passenger side and cap of intake and run a breather on the driver side. I'm N/A stock right now and the car is at 200k but needs some new regular repairs first before I worry about a expensive setup. I just know how blowby is. Plus I found residue inside my intake before the TB and my TB was horribly dirty.
