APS ST started today :)
my installer suspected the setting of the EVC, and we did a reset..
now its exactly the opposite.
if the EVC is OFF then the car will boost max of 6 psi.( and hold all the way to redline )
if the EVC is ON then the car will over boost.
can anyone recommend the setting for the EVC, i mean the Offset, scramble mode ...etc.
what do u think guys. ???
Keep looking into the EVC installation. Seems like you are on the right track. Offset setting is all different by vehicles, so my offset is not gonna be the same with your's. Make sure your EVC setting is 150% correct. Then play with the EVC settings.

Nightcrawler, finally your making progress. for your setup(assuming u have a 6lbs wg spring this is what i woud do for a 9lb setup
1. Units of Measure - make sure you are selecting the correct unit of measure - PAS (kPa) or PSI.
PSI
2. Wastegate Type - (S) is for swing valve or internal (actuator) wastegate type
(P) is for poppet valve or external wastegate type
S
3. Standard maximum boost is your "maximum" base wastegate spring pressure (NOT YOUR TARGET BOOST). It is recommended that you apply load to 3rd or 4th gear to obtain the base boost if you are not sure of your wastegate spring rate.
An indicator will show your base boost where the P.H. is on the top of the screen. You can manually turn the **** also if you already know your base boost pressure.

4. Target Boost - this is where you would enter your target boost. The range is from base boost to 36 PSI. (This mode automatically sets your volume A and B, but you can change it after your initial set-up). ** You must set your target boost ABOVE your base wastegate spring rate and cannot be the same as your factory or base rate.

5. Initial Offset Value - the initial set-up offset value is different from the volume A and B offset settings. This step must be done to ensure you are obtaining your initial target boost. Your initial setting will be at 100%.
You will now need to apply load to 3rd or 4th gear again to check that you are obtaining your initial target boost. An indicator next to the P.H. will blink showing you a real time boost pressure reading.
If you are not reaching your target boost, you will need to turn the percentage (%) gain up by turning the **** clockwise.
If your boost is going over your target boost, you will need to turn the percentage (%) gain down by turning the **** counter clockwise.
Once you've matched the target boost you will need to push the **** once to finish the initial set-up.

Now for A(7.5)/B(9lbs) offset i would
A-OFFSET OF 90( if at 100 you will probably overboost, since target is set at 9)
B-OFFSET of 105(usually will hit target and pull it back a .3 of a lbs at 100, )
These are my settings for the kit, EXCEPT i have external wastegates and the aps 3" exhaust but im within .2 lbs of boost all the time. took a while to tweak. internal wastegates are known to overboost on this kit, maybe set offsets in the 90's or even 80 is intial (step 5)if your constantly overboosting

As I stated before... invest in an external setup... should be able to push more boost, at a steady rate, in a safe and predictable condition... my stock wastegate would be like playing the lotto... 1-3rd gear would be .4-.5 bar and 4th-6th would be .6 up words of .9.... Ill let you know how my custom external setup works out. (side note, my scavenge pump had a dab of oil, Im praying it goes away when I start driving the car again.)

Took a ride in nightcrawler's Z, car runs smooth. one thing i noticed, his car got the torque but missing tons of HP (I'm assuming 60-80hp) ... his AFR gauge is broken so we couldnt get a proper reading, however, I'm pretty sure the car is running very rich. no boost/vaccum leaks. boost is around 6-6.5 psi which is lower than what it should be making.
that being said, from the way his car moves you can tell the car is holding too much back pressure (tons of tq but not enough hp).. his restrictive exhaust is contributing to this. the APS ST is VERY sensitive to back pressure, thats the first thing i told him when he was planning to install the kit. once the exhaust issue is solved and properly tuned I'm sure it'll be a night and day difference.
that being said, from the way his car moves you can tell the car is holding too much back pressure (tons of tq but not enough hp).. his restrictive exhaust is contributing to this. the APS ST is VERY sensitive to back pressure, thats the first thing i told him when he was planning to install the kit. once the exhaust issue is solved and properly tuned I'm sure it'll be a night and day difference.
If u would have read this thread a little more you would've seen that the exhaust issue was finally taken care of. From talking back and forth with nightcrawler it seems that he has come a long way from day one problems with the kit. So to qoute dubai's post about backpreassure seems pointless to me. Please explain

i was really disappointed by the results. but then the tuner told me that the same dyno. a stock Z06 run 355whp. and he was impressed by the number.
anyways. the boost creap is almost done( on the dyno) .
on the street, the issue still there and i loose boost till i reach 6 psi.
i am thinking to tight the actuator abit more.
check out the results below

ahh dyno jacked up if z06 runs 355, there in the 450ish mark but thats irrelevant, your graph looks like alot is going on and not in a good way.
here are my graphs-sorry for bad quality shots... your afr are too high and not constant. also your graph starts off like mine(your first pull starting @2.25k and 80hp) but ends up with 80 less hp... even with 3 less lbs of boost, im not gonna be at 290
