Hey guys,
I have never been a big fan of talking about what I was doing before it was done however, I have received a massive amount of pm’s/emails/calls inquiring about what I was going to do next. With that I’ve been receiving tons of support. I’ve been playing things really close to my chest for awhile, and as many of you know, my car has been down for quite some time. There was a ton of drama with my former tuner, and even as I post this thread my car is still down. I will however say this, Matt of Perry's Automotive has been great and supportive, we are still communicating throughout the whole ordeal. He has given me his word, and will be putting the whole car back together for me as we previously agreed. If anyone in NJ needs some mechanical work done Perry's Automotive is still a solid place to go, and Matt has, and will take care of me in the future. The events that occurred strengthened our relationship, and I will be continuing business with Matt in the future.
While my car was down I decided to make a few upgrades, they will make the car more reliable, and in turn the car will be able to make more power as well. So I called up Sam@GTM. Sam and I have had a relationship before my car was boosted he was someone I KNEW could help me reach the goals I wanted. Since the car has been down for so long I always toyed with the idea of getting into a different motor setup. Sam@GTM was extremely helpful and helped sway my decision and I was able to do so with confidence. What I decided to go with follows below:
GTM 4.0L Stroker unsleeved block
GTM Stage 3 TT (twin GT30's)3076s .86ar fully upgradable to 35rs down the road
GTM 3" Turbo down pipes w/ tial waste gates
GTM Stage 2 turbo camshafts (272s)
GTM Spec Exedy Twin Disc Clutch
GTM ECU Flash
GTM HR Cooling system modification
L19 Head Studs
HR Headgasket
Greddy Evo-TT Exhaust
HKS FCON V-PRO
HKS Camp2
HKS Navigator
HKS AFK
HKS EVC6
I can't wait until everything is completed and I am back on the road again. Sam has been there every step of the way to help guide me to ensure I’m making the decisions that will benefit me the most. I decided to change my turbo set-up. Some of you may remember the video my former tuner posted, and as many of you know I drive my car hard and like to redline every shift. I wanted turbos that would make bigger power to all the way to redline….everytime. I love/loved my greddy TT kit, but they were not sufficient for what I wanted out of my car. The only thing I would have ever traded them for would be the Twin GT30r's. I am hopeful this time around, and have faith in the new setup. Sam ensures that I will have a more reliable car with better components. The whole experience has given me a new found love for my car.
P.S. I cant wait til its drop top weather again. Also check out r0mey.com under construction now guestbook up soon See everyone at ZDAYZ!![](https://my350z.com/forum/images/smilies/icon38.gif)
