And after seeing your dyno results, it just confirms that I don't need the 1000cc/min injectors that he got me to buy.

But before I go confront him, can you please let me know what fuel pressure you are running your system at? And what duty cycle are you running the injectors at?

Without taking fuel pressure into consideration, going by the calculations at this website, http://www.witchhunter.com/injectorcalc1.php4,

using crank HP of 585HP (509rwhp x 1.15, think 15% transmission loss is fair),
and BSFC of 0.6, I calculate that you need a fuel injector duty cycle of 123% if you are using 500cc/min injectors.

Is it safe to run injectors at 123% on a constant basis? My engine builder told me that a reasonable number is 85% at WOT or else I will blow my engine. Can you show me some literature so that I can call BS on him!

Or maybe you are running at 85% duty cycle and just increased the fuel pressure. But going by this calculations, http://www.rceng.com/technical.aspx, you need a fuel pressure of 130PSIG!! How did you manage to achieve such a high pressure? I don't think even my dual Sard 280L/min can do that? What fuel pumps are you using? Please don't say that you are using the stock fuel pump because I don't see a fuel pump upgrade on your build sheet. I am going to sue my builder if you are using the stock fuel pump and can get such high pressure

And you stated that you are not running a fuel return system? Again...I am mad. How did your engine builder manage to run such a high pressure fuel system without a fuel return system?

I hope that you will share the knowledge so that I can go confront my engine builder.

I was wondering the same thing. I'll send my car too scott for a build and then let XKR pay another shop to fix all the mistakes Scott makes, buy me a new fuel system, ems, and a reliable tune ... winwin

I made a mistake when calculating the fuel pressure needed, it should be 90 PSIG and not 130 PSIG. MY bad.

My dual Sards may just reach this high of a pressure. But how did you manage to achieve this pressure without a fuel pump upgrade? Is it true that a thicker wire will do the trick?

Has anyone called JWT and asked about Scott? RA? VRT? I wonder if they refer to them? Scott seems to push the JWT hard (as seen at g 350 z driver yesterday). Just curious.

I already said this. This is how we get to Scott by going through JWT and complaining about him letting guys without shops install their turbo kits. Although we are an authorized JWT dealer,we have not installed one kit, only fixed other shops fuc* ups.

Mike,

Does your extended warranty plan also cover welded up pistons, crank case mud, cracked blocks, wrong cams, reused bearings from blown engines and fire hazards?

.
Tony....John worked hard to get this guy to take the deal.....he refused to respond to the offer. His warranty has now expired. Now he comes on here and post some fake dyno that scott gave him PA-LESE

XKR, It's not 100% VooDoo (TM)

The equation may be more complicated, as-in:

10% - Complete BS
30% - Lucky to find naive customers
30% - Luckier that they have money to spend
10% - VooDoo Parts (i.e. high voltage/current wired to walbro)
10% - VooDoo Marketing (website with no address, no business license)
10% - VooDoo Dyno Sheets (HP & TQ too high for a single wire to produce)

100% - Fail

Sorry for going OT but For sure my last set up was only 415whp and I had a dyno vid. Most guys that go from 250whp to 500+whp get that **** on video.

It's like walking into a secure facility... No pictures or recording equipment allowed. The man has to safeguard his methods or EVERYONE will be pushing his numbers!
