thanks, you know what a nightmare that stuff is to work with! but I think it turned out fairly good i am OCD so its not as good as I had hoped for but it is a little different look anyway.
Took them off cleaned them and put more RTV sealant on them as well as a little loctite on each bolt the bolts backed out a bit the first time and I couldn't get them to reseal after that with out removing them.
I was planning on it, but now I am scared to drive the car 40hrs one way (according to google maps) until it has proven itself to me I will be sticking closer to home. Maybe if i get some miles on it this year and things go well I will make the trip next year.

I have no idea how I stuck with it or how my wife let it go on as long as it has....many nights I looked over at the stock engine and thought how I could have it swapped back in before morning. I have left out so many of the minor failures that were self inflicted like the AC condensor had two bolts that rub pin holes in the rad. So i had them repaired bolted it all up again and the bolt on the top of the AC condensor that holds the condensor to the rad was a bit to long and I tightened it down to far and made another small hole in the rad it feels like a never ending battle.
But I drove the b1tch home tonight and even hit 15psi a few times it felt so phucking good.

For all the pain we went through last year, I can say that every time I take the car out it puts a smile on my face. I find myself going out late on Fridays and Saturdays to get gas after I put the wife to bed, just looking to put beatdowns on unsuspecting ricers and V8s

I might have to start carrying a camera with me.
It has been raining since I brought the car home and its supposed to snow tonight and tomorrow . So i haven't drove the car other than the night I brought it home I was going to take it out today but I doubt it will much fun in the rain with temps near freezing

Bead rolling FTW.
This is how all my piping is.

The JWT cast piece connection coming off the intercooler is a tad shorter than it needs to be and a problem spot due to the lack of good beading. You may want to actually extend the piping on one end, and do the beading where JWT failed to. This is what took XKR out of half the day at the first airstrip event.

I haven't been able to upload the dyno vids to photobucket it keeps showing they are corrupt files . I might have to put them on youtube. I don't have any good ones on the street yet.
But I have given up on the 3.8L for now.....
I ended up going with 21psi (waste gate pressure) on my stock engine. It makes 589whp and 609ft/lbs with 104octane and water/meth Every time I beat on it I think this could be the last time . It has held together so far with numerous kills under its belt this summer. I was so sick of spending money on it I put the stock motor in and fully expected to put windows in the block.
I kind of kept quiet about it because I sure controversy will ensue about the clown running that kind of power on a stock engine but I just don't care anymore. I have the 3.8L in my buddies garage and I might start tearing it down this weekend and possibly re-deck the block and maybe o-ring it and give it one more try . I am so sick of working on the car I get annoyed even having to change oil on it so it was nice to drive it all summer and not do any more work on it.
