someone has highest stock block HP in their sig, F:T maybe? you might be the new champion.

So you have to run 104 everywhere you go I assume? you should just switch to E85 for the time being..

There is no E85 up here I could bring it here from the US in drums but that seems like a PITA. I also live 100+ miles out of the two major citys (Edmonton & Calgary) that I am closest too so if I ran E85 I wouldn't be able to round trip to either with E85 .

If i am going to the citys or during the week I run 94octane and weekends I run 104oct to go have fun. 104 is $5/L or aprox $22/gal here so it is a little to expensive to run all of the time and 94oct is about $1.00/L or $4.50/gal I was going to just buy a drum of 104 for $800 bucks and I just never got around to it. With 94 it is fine at around 15psi but if I run through the gears WOT at 21psi when I hit the top of third it will ping if I am rolling in 3rd I can get one pull in third with no pinging but after that it pings once the heat builds up. So when I run 94 I short shift at 5500rpm and i don't get any pinging it seems to be fine so far

This is, by far, the COOLEST thing ever posted on this forum!

holy crap that's some expensive fuel. I would invest in a fuel tank and drive a truck to get some e85 at a decent price somewhere. I don't know how much you said it was to get e85.

that or just get a meth injection. prob a lot cheaper that route. at least you have some 94 octane. We used to have 94.5 octane at sunoco but they stopped carrying it when gas prices went up. Sucks. We have 110 at the pump still for 5.69$ a gallon so it's not too bad if i want to crank it up.

Like I said E85 is not available in Canada so i would have to get it from the US I am not sure if Montana or Washington state have it but that is along way to go and get it anyway so the tanker truck would cost me more than running 104 all of the time . I have never looked into the cost of getting drums shipped up here because if I ran it I would not be able to go to the major citys because it would take more than a tank to round trip unless I carry a bunch of gas cans in my trunk up here E85 is only feasible for race cars.I already have meth injection and with meth injection and 94 it will ping if I beat on it. Our 104 is not at the pump it is sold at performance shops out of drums. Our cost of fuel is ridiculous the 94 we have is even hard to find it is only at Mowhawk or Husky stations other than that our premium fuel is 91oct and it is $5.XX/gal I wish we could 110 for that price

Gord that is awesome... I ran 19psi once in a race by accident, the car was hauling *** compared to the 10psi I normally run. Only way I found out is when I check my data log. I am glad that I didn't remodel my block by adding some windows.

Wow! Goes to show what a good tune can do. I think you did set a new stock block record, and the best part is it isn't blown up like the other 'record'.
