All gear driven blowers will rattle at certain lower rpm's due to gear lash. Raise your idle or put a smaller pulley on and it should go away.

unless you have a 2004 or earlier you have to geta ECU reflash to bump the idle. otherwise a cipher can do it.

I can't say much about the V3, but i idle between 450 to 500 with the V2. With very little rattling noise when I replace my throttle body due to a TPC code my idle went up 900 to 1000. Because my idle was higher i was throwing a ISC systems code I think the code number is 507 don't quote me on it lol. I went to the dealership got a re-flash to relearn ETC now car is running great end of story. If you ask me retune the SS box maybe even replace it for a UTEC, but I could be wrong.

Yeah mate I think so.... Woohoo! Ha. I'm still in love with the GTM TT but fitting it in my garage is a big task. The vortech is no problem. Still I've gotta be sure what I'm gonna do before I drop a load of cash on it.

You're lucky you have a garage... I gotta do it in my driveway!
It says 10 hours to fit the vortech... imagine how long it'd take us?! lol

Yeah the garage will help mate but it's a small job compaired to the gtm ty install that would take me a week!

The install is on the intake side only and should not be to hard. I'm sure we could throw one on at the chilli's mod day!
