****** TTG35forT - Rev 2.0 ******

I spoke with John at Japtrix this morning. The motor has arrived.
Now, for the bad news. Japtrix is swamped. The shop is closed on Sunday, but Roger and I likely will go in this coming Sunday to assemble the rest of the motor onto the short block and get the rest of the plan laid out. After that, though, I have to wait my turn in line before the rest of the work proceeds. I really want to make the airstrip event, but I don't know if the car will be done it time. Here is a list of things that needs to happen:
1. Customize the downpipes - They need to be extended to reach my exhaust. Last time I had Japtrix cut off the forward most portion of the Greddy Evo TT exhaust where the tubes narrowed. Also, they need to route the dumps into the downpipes. When the downpipes are done, they need to go out for ceramic coating.
2. Fit the meth injectors into the intake runners, then the intake runners need to go out for ceramic coating.
3. Recess my HKS displays into the dash.
4. I bought a used pop-up display so that I can use the Camp 2. The plastic pieces on that are scratched up and need to be replaced.
5. When the motor/turbos are installed in the engine bay, I want the wiring hidden to the extent possible to keep the engine bay clean.
6. New fuel lines need to be installed for the custom FRS, not to mention mounting of the surge tank, fuel filters and fuel pump. Also, we need to have custom fuel lines made to run between the meth 6x manifold and each of the meth injectors.
7. The removable bracket needs to be fabricated and installed for 5-point harnesses.
8. When everything else is done, the last things to go in are the racing seats.
9. Tune
After all that, I still have paint work that needs to be done at Wellington Auto Body.
I'm going to hold off on the underbody for now. I have not had time to come up with a proper 3D model of my car so that I can model the air flow. Unless I come accross a good model at some point, I may just proceed based on the concept that I already have. Even without fluid flow optimization, the basic design is sound and should provide a good amount of downforce. The design requires modifications to the rear bumper, and thus fiberglass/carbon fiber work. Eric seems to have disappeared, so I need to find someone locally who can do that. So that will mean more paint/body work down the road. I may widen my rear fenders at that time to go with wider wheels/tires. I would like to be able to stuff 345/30/19s in the rear at some point to get added traction. I may go with Siebon front fenders to allow me to also fit wider wheels/tires in the front too.
Even foregoing the underbody at this point, making the airstrip event still looks like a long shot. I can hope, though.

I guess flexible lines could be used, but it seems to me that some sort of bracket setup would be needed to keep the lines from hanging down onto the heads. This is one of the things that I need to discuss with Roger.
EDIT: I just spoke to Dave at Coolingmist. He indicated that stainless steel braded teflon line would be fine. So, I'll probably go in that direction instead.

Other than the ARC catch can, are there any catch cans anyone can recommend? I have one originally designed for Corvettes. Its has a 2" Dia. tube that is 7.25" long, but Roger thinks that is too small for the power levels I'll be running.

Terry that's a nice box I saw this morning at Japtrix. Mind if I stop buy sunday? I would like to the block first hand instead of pictures. You can PM me if you want.
