Help! Can't Find A Supercharger System For A 2007 350Z !
Hello, I'm new to the world of 350Zs and am trying to find a supercharger system (preferably a kit) that will fit under the stock hood of a 2007 350Z 6MT. I've researched the net and a ton of 350Z forums but can only find systems to use with 03-06 models. I'm not interested in turbos or nitrous, just superchargers.
Who Makes A Supercharger Kit for 2007 2008 350Zs?
Can anyone provide advice as to where to find one, or alternatively, how to build my own?
Thanks!!

imo, you may be doing yourself a disservice by not considering a TT kit with small turbos. At the 400 whp level, turbos tend to be more reliable than superchargers.
Also, most of the superchargers made for our cars (with the exception of the Stillen SC) are centrifugal type superchargers, and thus do not provide the low rpm torque that positive displacement superchargers do. Indeed, the small TT turbo kits spool up quite a bit faster than the centrifugal SC kits. So, with a small TT kit, you will get a better torque curve and better reliability. Not only that, they are currently available for your motor.
Just some food for thought. If you are really adimant about sticking with a SC and you are going to go through the trouble of building your own kit, at least make it something worthwile. Use a roots type or twin screw type SG. The centrifugal SG's tend to suck.

Well that may be a bit of a generalization... and technically inaccurate since for the most part, they "blow". I guess it all depends on how you look at it though. Blowing and sucking kind of go hand in hand. Though even that statement conveys a technically inaccurate reference to an incorrect anatomical structure since usually the oral cavity is used in the context of those concepts. Terry, you need to get your mind out of the gutter.

Very good response, Raj.
I guess I mean they "suck" because they don't "blow" enough, kind of like certain women I know...
That sounds like a good option for someone who is dead set on a SC.

For a stock block a supercharger is a great option. I love mine. Sure I would love to have more midrange. On a drag race I'm sure I would hang with and comparatively whp turboed Z. The only advantage that a turbo has is torque. For the ease of installation, reduced stress on the con. rods, and the cool sounds it makes I leaned toward a S/C. Another nice thing about a supercharger because of the lower torque it produces is typically you can more safely go for higher top end hp figures. Meaning a 420whp supercharger puts the same strees on the connecting rods as say a 380whp turbo car. Ok damnit I wish I went turbo but hey some of my points are valid.
