Guys just a little update,
I ordered the ARP L19 Head Stud kit and the Carrillo Pro H-Beam Connecting Rods so I will have 3 of the most expensive parts already...other one being the cosworth pistons.

Spoke with Jeremy at Haltech just now and got a little pissed off. He said at the beginning of August it most likely should be ready in 2 weeks. Well I waited 3 weeks to call and it is still not done and he had no idea when it would be.
I got pissed off and was like just send me another haltech, i'll pay the repair fee on the one you have just send me one. He said they don't have any to send that I would need to purchase one new if I did not want to wait. He went on to explain that Injected Performance was the reason that parts were not readily available and that they are not around anymore (not sure what he meant by that). Anyways he also explained that they have a handful of haltechs that are waiting repair, including one that has been there since May! Worst customer service ever!

Whether or not I have a headgasket issue or not I've decided to build the motor. I do not care how much horsepower I make, what I care about is making power as reliably as I can in a built motor. I am well aware the words reliable and power do not belong in the same sentence but I have been offered to have my engine built and tuned with a warranty.
The shop that will be doing the build is Gearheinz Power Service in Duarte, CA. The lead mechanic was also the lead mechanic for the Rockstar Drift Team.
Here is what I am thinking for the engine build.
Cosworth 8:8.1 Pistons +10mm over
CP Piston Rings (it seems that cosworth doesn't make +10mm over piston rings)
Carrillo H-Beam Rods (NI-Q35>-65676H-0)
ARP L19 Main Studs
ARP L19 Head Studs
Cosworth Head Gasket (not sure which thickness i need)
Cosworth Main Bearing Set (not sure which size i need)
Cosworth Rod Bearing Set (not sure if needed, please advise)
Block inspected and cleaned
Block redecked
Block Bored and Honed using a Torque Plate
Rotating assembly balanced
Crank magnafluxed and the journals micro-polished
Do I need anything else? Any suggestions? If I don't care about making more power from the heads should I not do anything other then headgasket and l19 studs? Should I have it redecked, valve job, etc..?
Currently I have 850cc injectors, cosworth fuel rails, and a single walbro lph255 fuel pump. I plan on completing the return fuel system by buying the needed parts from CJM but should I upgrade the fuel pump to a DW lph300?
Let me know what you guys think, thanks!
P.S. I should mention my stock block only has 10k miles on it.

Here is what I said:
I sent this to every haltech email address I could find on their website. If I dont have any response early next week, I am going to forward it to all of their dealers just to so they know how their customers can expect to be treated when trying to get their unit repaired.
Hello,
I just wanted to send you an e-mail to share the terrible experience I've had working with your company to repair my Haltech Platinum PNP for my Nissan 350z.
Purchased a NEW Haltech Platinum PNP for my 350z from a forum member on my350z.com in April 2011. Item was never used came brand new in packaging. It also came with a Haltech Boost solenoid, Haltech dual wideband, and an Injected Performance Dual Wideband Gauge.
Attempted to have my car dyno tuned by a Haltech certified dealer RRR Dyno Tuning on May 5th, 2011. Nelson found that there was an issue with the unit and would need to send it to Haltech USA for diagnostics.
Haltech unit was shipped to Haltech USA for repair the following week.
I spoke with a repair tech at Haltech USA on May 12th, 2011 and I was told it would take 7 to 10 days for the EMS to be tested.
Followed up with Haltech USA on May 31st, 2011 and was told it was still waiting to be tested.
Followed up again on June 7th, 2011 and was told it would be tested later that week.
Followed up again on June 14th and was told my Haltech was finally tested last and they would need 4-6 weeks for it to be repaired due to needing to be sent to Australia. During this time, not once was I ever called or given a status update even after giving Haltech USA was given my phone number. I would of assumed they would of at least called me to let me know that it had been found faulty but it required me to call them the next week to learn there was an issue.
Followed up on July 17th, 2011 and was told my unit was still in Australia.
Followed up again on August 2nd, 2011 and was told my unit was never sent to Australia and that is was actually in California with another repair tech. I was told it should be repaired in 2 weeks.
Followed up on August 19th, 2011 (3 weeks later) and told that they weren't aware of any progress made on my unit and that it was waiting for parts.
Do you think this would warrant a positive customer service experience for a customer? Your company has provided the WORST customer service experience I have ever experienced not only in the automotive industry but with any company I have ever dealt with. I implore you to help me get this resolved.

Well that was amazing, I just received a call back from Haltech USA giving me a status update. I'm not sure if this was due to my email or due to me being pissed off earlier on the phone but either way I am glad i lit the fire under their ***.
I was told that getting my Haltech repaired is now the highest priority ticket that they have. The parts for repair will be shipped from AU to the repair technician next week and once repaired he would be shipping it to me directly I believe. Can it be??? I may have actually my EMS repaired after over 4 months?? Stay tuned folks for next weeks episode!

You bought a new EMS - they should have just given you a new EMS immediately. Glad you got a positive response though. Moral of the story is that its worth it to go through Hal for purchases and support.

So since I've sent the e-mail outlining my experience with Haltech I've been communicating with the Lead Technical Support in Australia and a Manager at Haltech USA.
My Haltech unit is in Australia and they have not yet pinpointed the cause of the issue with my unit. They've been very responsive and have been giving me updates daily on the status of my Haltech. They do not why I was told it was in California but it seems it may be due to a mixup. If they aren't able to figure out the issue soon, I am guessing they will be sending me a new or refurbished unit. They also are going to be giving me one of their new I/O Expander 12's for free as an apology and a discount on a Haltech IQ3 Dash in the future.
As far as the engine build is concerned, I am still waiting on the ARP L19 head studs and the Carrillo H-beam Rods to arrive.
