I only looked at the article briefly but I had my injectors flow tested at RC to rule them out as the issue. I don't know enough about how injectors work to understand what else could cause them to malfunction if they flow just fine on a test bench.

No sorry, sold all my old setup off...I've always used RC's, and just recently switched to ID's since RC's don't offer high impedance above 750cc...

But I believe ID's seems to have the concensus best reputation overall; can't go wrong with them...but 1000cc may be excessive for your goals, unless they increase to >600whp...

Why don't you run a low impedance injector? Precision, ID, HKS etc? You have a haltech don't you? Can't you just wire in a resistor rather than *** with these crappy injectors?

I feel like large high impedance injectors are always going to be prone to problems.

Ya 1000cc might be excessive, really considering just going with some GT-R stock 560cc injectors and worry about larger ones when i want more then 500whp. They go for around $200 used..

hmm can i hit 500whp on these injectors without using 90%+ duty cycle?

I've got my 2000cc injectors starting and idling just fine, almost as well as my PTE1200s.

I;d just get the ID1000s. If your tuner is really worth the money you are paying him, they should behave like stock.

Since when did you have a budget? You can get lower flow ID's.

Not really about budget, more about getting a working car.

its all worked out...GearHeinz got me some GTR injectors to borrow so they can finally do a mild tune on the car and then later down the line I'll put in decent set of injectors and retune.

The GT-R injectors are working fine in the car, hoping to schedule for tuning this weekend.
