Car made 523whp / 470 tq at a little over 10psi of boost on the haltech. The GT-R injectors are running at 95% so that was the limiting factor. Will upgrade injectors once I've put a few miles on the new block. Will have dyno sheet up later but the car feels very smooth and it is scary to drive compared to the prius

Big thanks to GearHeinz for the excellent job on my new motor and being a reliable mechanic.

Im sorry to see that car is still weak sauce. Building a car with those numbers (especially on that dyno) is like having a kid with Downs, sure you love the b@stard, but in the back of your head, you wished things were different.

Well done.

trying to figure out what i should do next.

Obviously I need to upgrade my injectors.. to what size is the question though. If i stick with 91 octane I won't need more then 850cc or maybe 1000cc if i decided to get bigger turbos in the future.

However I am contemplating doing e85 for the knock protection/nice bump in hp potential.

My fuel setup is currently an aeromotive 340lph fuel pump with the cjm stage 0 + cosworth fuel rail kit. Minus the fuel pump, is this setup sufficient for 600-650whp (dynapak) on e85? I could either keep the 340lph pump and add an inline a1000 or i could ditch the stock tank all together and do an a1000 external pump with an atl fuel cell with an external fuel sump.

Thoughts?

Should mention I'd probably run 1600cc or even 2000cc injectors if i run e85

well, another user is getting pretty good power out of the 340 on e85. You could always try it and see what power output you get from it.

Even if you upgrade your pump you will not need 2000cc injectors. Calculating fuel twin walbros will run out just under 6 1400cc 100% duty cycle so even 1600cc injectors would have more to offer than the dual walbro. I was thinking id 2000's as well until i did the math and realized i'll waste 600cc of injector only to deal with having huge injectors. I'm hitting max 72% duty cycle at 652hp with my HKS 1000cc injectors and dual walbro setup.

you could get mid-high 500's with larger injectors, e85 and your current pump. once you hit 600hp the street fun starts to decline. I think trying it out that way is a cheap way to increase some significant power. Your suggested plan is quite an expensive upgrade so start with injectors (since you need them anyways) and see what you get. You might be satisfied without spending tons of money.

also, what's up with that tq curve? is the clutch slipping or something?

Detchworks injectors are pure junk. Best thing you can do is get rid of them and get some good injectors. After the 3rd time I had a car come through (for me to tune) with detchworks and I was unable to get the cars to run right I decided that it had to be the detchworks injectors. I now refuse to tune cars with detchworks injectors now..

What Im trying to say is if you send your ecu off to get it reprogrammed for detchworks latency, chances are it still is going to run bad and then your going to need different injectors and to pay to get retuned again
That's funny because many people have great results. My car drove better than stock when Hal tuned it on dw 800's. It was amazing. Once i switched to hks 1000's it all went to ****.

I;d just get the ID1000s. If your tuner is really worth the money you are paying him, they should behave like stock.
+1 if i didn't mind spending extra money i would get rid of my hks 1000's for id1000's in a heartbeat. I just don't feel like spending money and re-tuning again. I ran my 1000's on pumpgas just fine and i'm running them at 650hp with e85 just fine. I never had a problem idling at 14.7 either fuel.
