I have to drive down to GearHeinz this week so I can remove the Osiris UpRev reflash. Once thats done we are going to pull the ECU and have it replaced under warranty. If that doesn't work then we will swap the ecu wiring harness, not sure what the next step is after that.

Step 1) Get an extended bumper to bumper warranty
Step 2) Know a nissan master tech who works at a dealership

Finally some progress...GearHeinz decided to put some stock injectors in and the car ran fine with no misfires under load and the AFR stayed within .5 between banks. So we think its safe to say that even despite the flow testing of the injectors there is definitely something funny about them. I am thinking of buying some ID1000 injectors or maybe a bit smaller, any recommendations?

so stock tune/stock injectors work

but custom tune/bigger injectors dont.

DW are just denso injectors, exact same cores as stock. It really sounds like a tune issue. My car will misfire for sure when the tune isnt right. Clean up the tune, and back to normal.

If your car doesn't like DW's wouldn't that mean it doesn't like the stock injectors either?

What about trying another set of DW's?

lol at running stock injectors...

i'm aware that DW injectors are denso injectors..but I believe there is something seriously wrong with the set i have and I'd rather not buy another set of DW (nothing against them). I also thought it was a tune issue but Shawn at Church spent 4-5 hours troubleshooting my car without getting it to work as well as Sam @ GTM took a crack at it prior to my engine build and experienced the same exact issue.

Alot of SR guys say DW sux and to stay away something about rom tunes not liking them at all. JWT, Enthalpy etc...

from Zilvia:
Detchworks injectors are pure junk. Best thing you can do is get rid of them and get some good injectors. After the 3rd time I had a car come through (for me to tune) with detchworks and I was unable to get the cars to run right I decided that it had to be the detchworks injectors. I now refuse to tune cars with detchworks injectors now..

What Im trying to say is if you send your ecu off to get it reprogrammed for detchworks latency, chances are it still is going to run bad and then your going to need different injectors and to pay to get retuned again

Something I read about injectors that are upgraded and not purpose built for their flow...just sayin'...
