jtgli,
what injectors and what was the duty cycle for that? also was that straight pump with no meth?
do you think that 044 inline bosch will be enough without a sump tank? I will prob need more fuel with mine but i didn't think throwing an 044 inline with no surge tank would make much difference.
edit: also, how did you mount that? I'm trying to think where it would fit and mount between the oem fuel pump and the hard line since i'll be on a stage 2 with the large hard line.

Update!
This will be quick for the moment because Im about to go get a million things done around the house, but figured Id stir up the thread a lil until my post last tonight.
Went down to get tuned yesterday @ funtionTuned and ended with a quite pleasing day. Final numbers on the car are 549whp/598wtq on daves dyno @ 18.8 psi. Ill get into detail later on tonight more, but for now just wanted to post the numbers. So to those who said I wasnt gonna make over 550whp on a dj *cough* brimaxguy *cough* ummmm looks like you were wrong.....btw this was with stock heads and cams, and tuning was done with a utec lol

I also thought your 9k was a total cost involved including the kit, I think most people when doing the engine build would be around the 9k area depending on parts choices maybe a little more with labor, maybe a missed something that makes the 9k figure amazing, too many pages to read

I'm STILL waiting for 700whp. Considering it took you almost 19psi to make mid 500s, there is no way you will make 700whp on that setup.

Lets see 700whp on the stock cams.....I don't care what kind of dyno it is.
Until then, this is a dreamer thread.
PS - Where exactly did you say that your dyno run was done on a DD? I don't keep track of which tuners run which dynos, so saying "Dave's dyno" means jack ****.

Let me tell ya from someone that has done it....
700+rwhp on stock cams requires turbos that will FLOW......Don't know if log mani's will support enough flow on relatively small turbos (aka 18G's).
are you on a 18G or 20G kit J (I don't remember)?
GL though on reaching your goal...I know you'll keep us informed.

Retarded? Reading comprehension obviously owns you. Where the hell did you get the notion that I said you wouldn't make over 550whp?

20G's may flow enough......don't know if the log mani's will hold it back though (just inherit nature of direction change of gasses ya know). They should spool fast, but might hold back on the top end a little (guessing at this point though).
When you turnin it up?

Nice number for what you've done, but 550 (even on a low reading dyno, if this one reads low) is a far cry from 700.
so basically you haven't come anywhere close to doing what you predicted you'd do, and those of us that predicted you wouldn't be able to make 700whp (or anywhere close) are still correct.
that is NOT to say I don't respect the numbers you already put down, but 700whp is a pipe dream at this point.
