im leaning towards the GTM competition oil cooling kit. it just seems like the most efficiently designed setup. its clean and very functional. price is a bit steep but ill pay for good money for a well designed product.

They're all the same. I got the GTM HD kit for track use because it came with a nice bracket and lines precut. Its not much cheaper to build an equivelent kit. It works nicely. My only issue with it is the pressures run high since the piping is too small.

People..you are aware many of these pre-fabbed kits use Setrab or Mocal coolers, Aeroquip braided hose & other name brands!!! Might as well get individual pieces; at least you can customize to your needs.

Most cooler kits include:

Oil Cooler unit ( Mocal, Setrab etc)
Oil sandwitch adapter
Stainless Steel Braided hose
An fittings
Mounting brackets & bolts

I agree, but some people don't want the hassle of assembling lines and whatnot. They pay extra for someone else to do it for them

-10 may be a little overkill. The GTM comp cooler kit uses -8 lines, and works great.

some of the guys said previously the -8 couldnt handle enough flow though?? maybe its a restriction??

i used -10 AN lines and fittings. you'll need two 90 degree AN fittings at the sandwich plate and two -10AN fittings at the cooler (angles will depend on how you mount the cooler). looks like you already have the 2 bsp to AN adapters so you should be set.

i found this thread to be very helpful when I put together my oil cooler:

+1 on the -10 AN, it should be fine. I'm using it and the pressures at the proper weight oil is spot on for my setup.

All GTM has done is package OTS products, mark them up again, and resell. Thats an excellent business plan and it has seemed to work superbly! You can get all those components from Jegs/Summit for cheap and make your own -AN lines from ebay.

Heck even this would work perfectly http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=370288418608

you may just want to swap to a thermostatic sandwich plate.

Better yet, send me 550$ and I'll make you a oil cooler kit
+1000000

You can get a B&M 500hp kit at Jegs for 149.99. All you need is the sandwich plate and fittings.
