Yea, sure did. It's just taking up to much time for me right now. I do miss the power.

cdox--I'm actually about to do the same thing. I'm deciding between just taking the supercharger off and keeping on the bolt ons and keeping the car for awhile. Or converting everything back to stock, parting out and selling the car stock (I think I might have a hard time selling the car as is for the price I would want). I want to move on to a different platform...So quite possibly there will be many jdm parts for sale (Arc radiatior, Arc catch can, Arc oil pan, Endless full 6/4 BBK, Amuse exhaust, vpro, etc.)

How hard was it to put the fuel system back to stock? Are you keeping the Z or selling it?
Easy, just popped in the Stock injectors with the walbro 255. Going to install my HFC's when I get time next week.

No FRS. Keeping the Z for now. Looking at a Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8. May have to wail till 2012 for the Jeep.

Hey guys, What are your thoughts on running a 3.9 final drive on our HKS kits?

There have been people that have installed them on the Vortech kits, however on the HKS kits, i feel we lack the low end power, when i say low end i mean sub 4000rpms.

Thoughts, suggestions?

Hey Ian, i'v read/heard that the lower ratio will give the car a better throttle response through the rev range. It will rev through the range a lot quicker, especially 1st and it'l reduce your top speed a bit.
Will it be fun? Ohhhh yeaaah!!! Will it be practical , probably a tad less.
I have considered it, a 3.9 would be my limit, a 4.13 might be a bit too much.

I guess because Jonnylaw and cdoxp800 are stripping their kits off, discussions on this thread aren't going to have many replys anymore.....

Might just need to bite the bullet on the FD and give it a go.

I have a 3.7fg with the kit and found it satisfactory.

I'm still deciding between just pulling the supercharger kit off and keeping the car with bolt ons or completely demodding and returning to stock and selling the car (I guess I need to decide by tomorrow when I drop off the car). I don't want to have any regrets, but there is something to say with letting go and moving on. As much as it pains me, I am leaning toward parting out and selling the car. So many nice jdm parts that I may be parting with....

btw, I found the exhaust leak, with the car on, I peeked underneath the car, There is no gasket between the tanabe y-pipe and the Amuse b pipe (a 3 inch gasket)--I guess it blew out, there is a space between the two pipes and exhaust gas is leaking out there and there is also fuel dripping out, so dunno.

I am still around. I was looking at a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8. Just said no to the deal. I really love my Z. I guess I will be saving to get a built motor and TT.

I want to keep my car, but it looks like I will have to part it out and sell. I need to change my priorities and I no longer have the time, energy, or funds to keep it up the way I would like to. I moved back home after losing my job, and have not yet found gainful employment. I do not have access to a garage and I've spent too much of my energy and time focused on the car. Since I am not independent as of now, the decision is not entirely up to me. Cars come and go, family and my future do not. Sorry for the personal rant...

Anyways, I will be selling these parts:

HKS GT Supercharger kit (GTM spec)--~5k miles on kit--will come with new fcon is, new nismo injectors, walbro pump, stock 6 psi and GTM 9/10 psi pulley, etc.. Compressor housing custom ported by GTM to increase efficiency. Only thing you will need is traction fluid
GTM fuel return system (rails, lines, regulator)
Deutschwerks 600cc injectors
HKS f-con vpro
HKS AFK with additional A/F sensor
HKS CAMP2 setup with all available optional I/F sensors except EGT
Cosworth plenum
Nismo Headers (Jet Hot 2000 Coated)
Power Enterprise HFC's (metallic core)
Tanabe Y pipe
Amuse R1 exhaust
ARC radiator (With upgraded ARC cap)
ARC cooiling panel
ARC underpanel tray
ARC oil pan
ARC v.2 catch can
ARC oil cap
Stillen sway bars
Stillen engine damper
OS Giken STR clutch and flywheel
Endless full BBK (6 piston front, 4 piston rear) with Endless Rotors, Pads, lines
Quaife ATB and 3.7 fg (will likely keep this on the car--unless I could find a oem VLSD pumpkin and axle stubs)
Nismo diff cover
Nismo cpv35 s-tune suspension
Nismo power steering cooler
JDM battery cover
Sun Auto anodize blue pedal covers
Volk CE28n's in gunmetal grey (19x9.5 +22 front--19x10.5 +22 rear), wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza REO50A pole position tires (255/35/19 Front, 275/35/19 Rear)--About 1000 miles on the wheel/tire combo--no curb rashes or damage.
Project Kics Revo R40 lug nuts and lock in smoked chrome

About 10k miles. The Os Giken STR with sintered iron (cerametallic) friction material is near indestructible. The car was babied, never raced or beat on it.

Will let you know prices. But the SC kit is for a G coupe, not a Z.

Thats a shame Jonny, you were a great help during my install

Might be interested in the Endless BBK (Will they fit straight onto a Z or do I need brackets made up?)
