You're going to have to put back your stock drive pulleys (if they changed in diameter from the UR)

I kept everything, and I would plan on putting everything back to stock except my exhaust. I figure it would take me 15 minutes to change the injen and 1 hour for the pulleys, not a big deal at all. Any news Steve!!!!!!

Kevin:

Have you contacted Jeff at performence Nissan? They seem to sell NISMO parts cheaply and might be aware of best clutch and flywheel.

I use my local dealer which is Mossy of Oceanside. Greg Vogel has the built NA 350Z and races it and his built SER on the track. He is good friends with Jim Wolf. Maybe you can contact him and see what he recommends. I bet he would have great suggestions and since he dyno and tests everything BEFORE he sells it, he would know from experience. I know he already dyno'ed and test one or more flywheels.

BTW, Greg is also the guy that got me out tracking my Z at willow springs last month. I hope you will do it with us on March 5th, 2004. Jeff & Jason of Performance Nissa, Greg Vogel of Mossy Nissan, Cheston, and about 22 other Z owners are going already. If fact, bring your dad down and lets track his 12 second MB to put an asswhoppin on some of us. Nothing like having the old man show us how it is done. No experience needed and they will help you learn how to drive. Just bring a hemet, motorcycle helmet will be good enough.

Here is the link to performance Nissan below. All I have heard about Performance Nissan is good (prices, quality of work, performance parts) and Jeff is a great guy. I spoke to him on the phone several times. Very informative and honest. BTW, they have 11 different clutches listed alone + flywheels to boot. You could get a new clutch/flywheel installed one day while you are down getting your Vortec installed assuming Steve will take you up on your offer.

Kevin:

I added you to the 1st annual Mossy 350Z track day on March 5th, 2004. Last month, we did a track day, it cost $145 I think for the day which gave us 30 minutes on the track with 30 minutes to cool down your car. At the end of the day, you get 3-4 hours track time which is a lot. They taught us how to approach track driving and then set you up with an experienced driver to go out with you on the track.

The registration will begin sometime after the New year and I will contact you when that occurs. I will also post suggested hotels to consider lodging in, direction, etc. Check out the thread on it below and see who is going. Here is the link, after reading that entire thread, pm me with any questions you have.

Forced:

I spoke to Kevin/CaLiFoRnIaZ on the phone last night. He is really hoping you will come through with the deal you guys discussed on this thread a couple of days ago. If it is a go, let me know so I can coordinate Kevin's vortec Z with Dave at sportZ magazine for the article. Time is ticking and deadlines have a way of sneeking up on us before we know it. It sounds like a win win situation.

PS: Kevin told me he will do anything you want to the car to get it set up correctly. He just wants to have fun with this project.
