Uprev + Self tune + Hills Garage
As some of you may have known I decided to swap my UTEC for Uprev Tuner+HPX MAF and do a self tune mainly on the street.
Anyways, this is a BIG shoutout to Frank Smith and Frank Hill at Hills Garage for helping me iron out my fuel table for only the $65 dyno day fee.
I want to thank Jared at uprev for dealing with my noob questions and GT-ER on my350z for all the tips that got me 90% there.
Before = Self-street tune with busted a/f meter
After = 20 minutes later smooth as silk after some Frank love -- less fuel, more HP FTW
(and yes, those run conditions ARE accurate... it is hot as FAWK out here). We had to run the A/C between each pull just to stay alive....heatsoak FTL.

Good to see your enjoying your car. A/F really did take a dump after 6K...lol...but looks good now.
Do you have a fuel return? My car used to make squiggly dyno lines like yours till I got my fuel return. Now the lines are smooth and my even feels smoother than before.

@XKR thanks!
@GT-ER yes I have a return line. Without it there's no way my 440's would keep up. It's always been a little bumpy even with the UTEC, seems like the nature of the turbos.
@VAS the hardest part was understanding the uprev software and the way the stock ECU does things. Once you get that down it's pretty straight forward. But there are a few things only an experienced VQ tuner can know from experience -- which is why I had Frank do a once over on the dyno... as you can see I was close but needed work up top and we pulled a little timing.
There is more power to be had (meth, timing, higher boost settings) if I ever go there I'll definitely let Frank do it...I'm done for now

Good job Randy.I just noticed the torque was way low compared to your original power #'s.I guess the 110 plus temps had something to do with that though.

Just saw some pictures over in the Mid-A section. Very clean and tastefully modded G. Props to you for doing most of the tune yourself. Can't beat that price. Meth is next on my list of things to do as well.
Yea 110 + heatsoak this time and ideal conditions originally. Each run was about 5 tq lower so that final run was about 20 tq lower than the 1st. heatsoak kills the tq but didn't affect the hp as much. I bet it would put down equal or higher numbers than it did originally under the same conditions. Kind of ironic that the AAM tune was so spot on, probably because JT had a hand in it.
