i dont think adding more timing would shift his powerband to the left almost 1000 rpms though... thats a function of turbo spool

OP, i have some questions, what w/g spring are you running and what were your intake temps on these runs? also, the DD should have a knock sensor so why didn't he run the timing closer to knock threshold?

This was also a 4th gear pull, so the loading would be different.

But again, not 1000 rpms different.

I dont understand why we always assume that a DD dyno is always low? There are tons of DD shop here in NY that add the correction to their number to mimic the DJ numbers.

It's also not that low in winter relative to summer where the #s do take a big hit (in shootout mode). Most dyno operators are familiar with the conversion of their dyno results to dynojet - not really an assumption.

/\ my point is what if the dyno operator already added the correction? For example, my local shop automatically add the DJ correction on his Dyno Dynamic. If I post my dyno, people will assume that I should be pushing more HP if I go to a DJ, but in reality my dyno already have the correction and should be already on par with a DJ dyno. MRC did the same thing with mine on his initial tune. He posted the dyno with the correction. So how do we know if that dyno dont have the correction?

the actual numbers dont even matter between the 2 BP setups. If anything the DD will spool the turbos faster, more like on the street. But the OP still is showing alot of lag compared to other BP setups and general gt35r powerlab setups

you can choose spring rate when you order so one peron's "stock" isn't the same as anothers. which one does yours have?

I need more info on the intake temps. What is the ambient during that 102* intake temp? how long was the car run? how many pulls before you saw that?

true, i was viewing on my phone and couldn't see that the shift was 1000rpms.

Because the numbers he posted are very close (if not near identical) to the other dynoed BP kits on a DJ at the same boost level. So you can assume 2 things: dyno is reading lower than the others done on DJ's or his car at 10psi is 12% less powerful than all the others.

It's the same turbo and engine that you have....there shouldn't be any difference in it's ability to "wake up" unless something is wrong. I think rich is correct in that there might be a leak or something not working to full potential.

Gotcha haha. I need to up the boost myself. Need to find some time to install my boost controller and get a retune with higher psi.

I am still going off of wastegate pressure
