I removed the Vortech FMU, and in-line pump today...
Also got my new 600cc DW injectors in and new plugs.

My drivers side rear spark plug tube was FULL of oil...
Guess I get to do a new valve cover on that side...
Maybe my warranty will cover that???

Going to do the in tank fuel pump, 3.12 pulley and remove the SS box tomorrow...

Headed to intec tuesday at 11 for a tune!

i also noticed my pipe charge pipe camwe loose, the piece below the vortech unit, before the MAF...
I'm not sure if it was always like this, or I bumped it loose while removing the intake to do the plugs/injectors. Guess i better hook that back up huh...

Are you driving it to Intec or towing it? If you're driving it there without a tune you're probably going to foul those brand-new plugs....

If you can't get a free AAA tow I wouldn't worry about it, it shouldn't cause any damage in 4 miles. But I've seen brand new plugs get fouled and have to be pulled and cleaned from less than 5 minutes of driving before--granted it was a horrible base map tune Anyways can't wait to see the results!

send me an email and i'll send you one of my 3.12 maps that will be close enough in vac that you won't have any fouling issues driving it there.

I'm just going to have it towed... Thansk though, appreciate it!

The fuel pump is in, the new 3.12 pulley is on, pluigs, injectors, all ready to go for tomorrow.

I've got a tow truck scheduled for 8:30... Decided the 100 bucks was a small price to pay at this point...

I did start it up to make sure it was all ok... it idles fine, and sits at 10/1 on the AF ratio...

So the plugs I got arent cold enough.

Lawrence at intec (cool guy btw...) has ordered me some colder greddy plugs and i will put them in when they arrive...

But right now the car is makes 436 hp at the wheels...

I'll get a dyno up when I have it...

I will go back next week after the plugs are changed and make a few more runs on teh dyno.

just hope he's not confusing too hot of plugs with real pre-det....

i sure hope you arent paying more than 50$ for a set of the "greddy" plugs as standard NGKs are less than 9$ for iridiums with coppers like 6$ each

Me Too???
He showed me the graphs, what he said makes sence.

I'm going off what he is seeing and what the graphs sare saying...

It tries to pull timing at high rpm's due to knock... the line goes from a nice smooth ramping line to bumpy crap close to redline.
You can see it pulling timing due to det.
