Thumbs up Momentum kit owners

Hi all,

So I wanted to start a thread for the Momentum single turbo kit owners to
talk about their experience with the kit so far.
I'm one of those owners and I will start by giving my feedback on the kit.
will the kit I have is a full kit on a stock internals, kenitex intake, agency
power exhaust, custom made fuel system "rails, regulator, return line, 600cc
DW's". all installed and tuned by VTR.

Had this kit for 3 days now and I love it. power is instant, BOV is crazy loud.
there is absolutely no lag. and the UpRev is amazing compared to any
reflash or ems with in the price range.
made around 400hp which doesn't really matter now.I'm saving up for
an engine build, then the hp really matters due to the fact that my engine
has 56K miles on it and was boosted for almost 20k miles.

had my experience with other single turbo kit which is turbonetics.
wouldn't even compare with cuz there is no way they are in the same
level of power and quality.

I'm defenetly falling in love with this kit every time I slam the throttle to
the floor

a big thank you for VTR and Momentum for there hard work.
here is one more happy customer

so let me know what is your experience with the kit so far ??

100% sure I'm going to get this kit. Still have things I want to do beforehand but want to know what more people think so far since it's newer to the market. Sub'd.

Great kit, I will point our customers who have bought this way so they can leave their feedback. We also have our track driver running this kit in his TA car this year so it should be a great test.

Sub'd, while I sit on the fence and see how the LS swap crowd addresses the AC... this is the single kit I would go with if I decide to go this route...

For the people on the fence about reliability, check out this video of our test car with over 25k miles on a stock engine.. its been through multiple drivers, both very experienced and some that have never driven a boosted car. Here is a great testimony that proves that a well designed kit can provide years of reliable performance.

Nothing against Momentum as they have obviously spent ALOT of time canvasing the local import scene personally selling their kits, but the thing is, we have not seen a turbo kit fail. The reliability is never with the kit but with the motor, and almost never with a stock motor. Baby the tune enough and there is no reason reliability should be a factor. The only turbonetics (which is discontinued) that caused motor damage were ones that were pushed past original intent. Turn that momentum turbo to 25 psi and then judge reliability. Of course Momentum wouldnt stand behind that either....

I'd bet my bottom dollar that 2500$ godspeed turbo kit on a stock motor with a proper tune would be just as reliable.

Just sayin... dont get too caught up in "reliability" of a turbo kit when that is never an issue to begin with. Buy the Momentum kit becuase of the superior Tial housing, the meticulous detail in install instructions, the fitment, etc.

str8dum1: will then judge my car after the engine build and then we will see how it
goes.
I wouldn't mention the godspeed kit cuz it's basically a replica of TN so no point of
doing that.
plus Momentum supplies a proper tune UpRev which is the best mid range ems.
Power lab is supported by Utec which sucks.

when it comes to reliability the good thing about momentum I don't have to spend on
anything more the the kit. almost all TT's require some sort of ems, or the ems that
came with it wasn't as good such as greddy.

Word. This kit seems to be the best one yet, especially based on quality, fitment, and overall r&d. But very true about the power, tune, and motor.

don't mean to thread hijack but that is incorrect...and utec is essentially discontinued by manufacturer, and it was originally included cause it was the better option back then....you can get whatever ems you want. nobody holds that against greddy kit to refrain from buying it anyways.

Also, gospeed being a tn replica or not, what str8 said is still correct.

I like singles...and on stock block specially you can beat TTs... all depends on the driver. Congrats on yur new build

ps. ok... i must say i dont like the kinetix manifold though...

IIQuickSilverII: yes I agree with the main Idea, but I was talking about an over all package.
but yeah that's true I wasn't even thinking about reliability when I bought the kit.
It was greddy TT's, or powerlab. the only thing that let me fall in love with this kit
is the over all quality and the turbo housing.

btw what is wrong with the kenitex I guess it's the best plenum when it comes to FI.
I have seen few cosworth plenum leak when boosted.
it's a single welded piece so no seals headache.
but you might know something that I don't so please enlighten me.
