Who else is running the JWT 700BB kit?

I'm learning about some of the components of the JWT kit... those elbows right off the turbos are very (relative term) restrictive so while the size of the turbos themselves are probably the biggest limitation- I imagine that taking out that restriction would help the turbos spool faster and maintain their capacity through the higher boost levels?
I guess the question remains whether or not the turbos in this kit produce enough flow to be restricted by those elbows and create the backpressure that would cause the lag...
Is it headwork and a tune (and a built block etc) that allows the car to rev up to 7-8k rpm? I would think that and the 3.3 FD might be required before someone saw 600 on pump?
Or will turbos of that size simply run out of breath short of 600 no matter what?

Yes, the turbos are out of breath. 550 whp is the approximate limit with variations based on dyno, corrections, etc. I do recall someone mentioning 760 whp on one setup, but I can't recall where exactly.

It would help lower AIT's but you could do the same with a more efficiant intercooler as well and save money in the long run rather than pay for meth all the time. I run meth on my Subaru for that reason because I'm not running an intercooler on my supercharger set-up yet, it helps but I think that I'll get better results after I redo the piping to add an FMIC.

Thanks for the info guys. I don't think I'll be unhappy with 550-580whp. LOL More importantly to me is the fact with the built block I won't be worrying as much as I have with the stock VQ.

The 700bb is a nice pump gas, mid range set up for a basic built short block. It is out of breath above 18 psi and 6500 rpms, but that'll get you to its limit at about the same pressure level you'd want to run on pump at 9:1 compression on a 3.5L motor with a stock rev limiter.

What I meant by the comment is that while the car was quick, it didnt feel that way. It was drama free, just picked up and went. Didnt feel the "hit" like I do when I go WOT in my car even at similar numbers.
