well got her running today, still have a couple things to do on her tomarrow. hook up the dual wideband controller, hook up the guages and put the bov on but thats about it. shes running pig rich so i just messed with the tune a little to try and get a steady idle before my computer died(spent like 40 minutes finding a printer cord cuz the silver haltech one is junk.) i should have turned it off first lol.

oh yah sasha the exhuast sounds mean even with a shitty idle lol

had a few issues, reason it was idling like **** is because my buddy hooked a coolant line up to the intake that he thought was a vacuum line(stock intake wont fit with the cjm rails and precision injectors). noticed it when it started spewing coolant out the exhuast. last time i let him do anything but tighten clamps and start the car. the dual widebands act kind of funky. during acceleration and deceleration most of the time the read the same, occasionnal one will read one point higher like 12.5:1 bank one 13.5:1 bank two but its usually the same. however randomly during cruising ill have like 13:1 bank 1 and like 18:1 bank 2 im not sure if the coolant ****ed one of the sensors or whatnot, knock reading isnt showing anything and dont appear to be missing either, plugs checked out fine when i inspected them so thinking mayby a screwed sensor. finally i tryed to angle the open dump down which was a bad idea with the parking lots here, gotta pull it off and cut it down where it bent the hell out of the opening exiting work parking lot. not going to take that exit anymore either the other one is more gradual.

on a side note had a e6 on a bike pass me then stop to ask me what i had done to it because it sounded amazing lol. still tuning to even everything out avoiding timing from what hal had it set to for my base map till i get the afrs where i want them.

Hope you get the fueling sorted out....other than that another BP DIY install.

I think you are the only customer who would have a louder exhaust than the actual dump tube. Let me know if you need a replacemement, or if you are ok reparing the existing one.

im just gona pull it off and cut it shorter that way theres no issue. and yah it was smoking bad thats why i went to look at the exhuast and saw the coolant dripping and told him to kill it. it sounds amazing though ive been going off bank one since it dosnt seem to jump around as much, mayby i have a slight exhuast leak causing it im not sure.

It is very possible that you have an exhaust leak on bank 2, since the bolts are a bit harder to get to. Check the 3-bolt flange on the driver side and make sure all the bolts are tight.

what exhaust are you running? I was ruing a custom 3" with 1 resonator and my open dump was still louder than my exhaust. So much that if I drove with the window open it would hurt my ear, and than the damn HKS BOV would be even louder.... since its mounted 10" from the turbo under the car

custom one sasha built for me and shipped with the turbo kit, 3 inch stainless to axle then splits into dual 3 inch with vband clamps, no muffers or resonators or anything like that just straight pipe.

you can hear the hks but it seems to be fluttering like the compressor is surging none of the high pitched stuff you hear in youtube videos, i havnt really gotten into boost though pretty much just the once but it was hard to hear anything over the exhuast that time lol.

i got rid of the flutter when i shortened the feed line for the hks. also seems the wideband issues i was having was from the wiring, had bank one hooked up to the yellow connector under the car but seems bank one on my haltech is actually c9 connector(its a platinum but theres no breakout for the wideband.) so since i had bank one hooked up to c7 and bank two to c9 like the instructions say, and is apparently backwards on my haltech, the ecu was seeing rich that bank one was running but taking fuel from bank two. switching the wires and she runs great now.

also what are people running for timing 4500-6000 rpms at 10 lbs of boost for pump gas? looking at it thats the only place im getting a slight amount of knock, it had 6 degrees total in there dont wanna run it again without any input, might go set up the meth as well.

i was thinking it was way to low as well ill play around with slightly higher and see if that plus the meth helps get rid of the little bit of knock im getting. not much at all under 100 counts when it happens but enough to want me to get rid of it. seems far lower then everything else, both 3000 amd 6000 rpms is higher then then that at the same boost.

Just got it running again yesterday with new ipdm. Now ive gotta go get tires for the new wheels since i sold the old ones thinking it would take longer for the ipdm to get to me.

ipdm was grounding the can system and through that grounding the entire harness. poped the fusible link on the top of the fusible link holder. replaced it the ground is gone now the car will run with a jumper wire for the fusible link, so ive got to get a new one of those and also sold the wheels and tires for the rest of the machine work costs.

army owes me $1200 for my per deim that is supposed to only take 72 hours to process yet has somehow taken over a month and still no response. i took $1600 of the $2100 i had set aside for the rest of the build and paid of the wifes kirby with it =/

if i still dont have that by next paycheck ill just get like cheapo general tires for now.
