Default APS Twin Turbo, Water Lines

Hey Guys,

I'm trying to finsish off this ensanely elongated TT build. I'm having a little trouble figure out where the end of the water lines actually go. The diagram on the instructions has it bolting into something on the A/C Compressor. I can't really make sense of this, since it seems like the water line should feed into another water line somwhere in the circuit to complete the loop.

Either way, can someone snap a picture of where this hose should be connected?

The lines get connected on the passenger's side by the bleeder valve and on the driver side drain bolt which you need to remove and terminate the connection there. The drain bolt is on the block itself. If you look at the installation for the extreme kit it shows it more clearly.

Got it, thanks guys. The confusion was mostly from having the wrong sized straight adapter on the line.

Alright one more question related to this. I had to order a new straight adapter for the drain plug because mine was missing. The APS inventory calls for a "9/16"JIC x 3/8"BSP", I ordered a -6 AN X 3/8" NPT straight adapter. It doesn't go in smoothly, but it's possible I need to chase the threads. I tried putting in the drain plug, and it's got some hesitation as well (thought it feels more natural).

Can anyone verify that I have the correct size straight adapter in the mean time?

BSP is not NPT.

so no, you do not have the correct adapter.

Sigh, why british threads :-/

Trying to track down a 9/16 jic to 3/8 BSP straight adaptor now. If anyone can help me out, I'd appreciate it.

You can just make your own water lines if you can't find the adapter just make sure whatever adapter you get is the correct thread for the block and turbo

Thanks man! I actually ended up finding the part at a local industrial supply shop. I'm keeping that link for sure, though.

i can't seem to find replacement oil and coolant lines for the aps kit because of the weird fittings, can anyone help me out? two of the lines frayed holes in them

edit: that sight finewine posted, may have helped...so if the fitting is 9/16 jic, a 6AN line will fit?
