Just got a 350... Wat do?
Alright.... I just bought a new -- to me -- 350Z Roadster. I purchased the car from one of the owners of Accessible Technologies, Inc. (ATI), the maker of ProCharger. The car is BONE stock, except for the Procharger S/C, intercooler and the Aeromotive fuel controller they used to tune the car.
I don't want to do anything too crazy, but would like to look at some nice supporting mods. Where would be the best place to start? I am coming from the Subaru world, and don't have a lot of knowledge on the 350. I thought about doing the whole UpRev thing, but the closest tuner to me is about 200 miles and I have heard that tuners are "touch and go" when it comes to forced induction cars. I understand that at some point, I will definitely need to get the car re-tuned, if not after every additional mod.
Thanks

It seems like you have seen the worst lol
there is no way in hell you can run a BONE STOCK z with any FI kit....
what is the size and type of injectors?
what pump is it running?
exhaust?
AT or MT?
what model/year is it?
how many miles on it?
pulley size????
all that would determine what to do or what not...
scroll down couple of threads and you will see an FAQ for the procharger check that out.
plus there are plenty of info already posted on this forum to help you learn and understand what's is going on in the z world...
please next time try to read about your setup and then use search, if that doesn't
feed you need then post stuff up.
and PLEASE PLEASE don't you ever buy an already modded car that you have no idea
what is the pro's and con's of it..... you might end up fixing rather then enjoying it.

Start saving up.
Talk to a shop that knows what they are doing and see how much it all costs. Until then enjoy the car. When you see the amount you have to spend to really get alot of power out of the vq you'll want out LOL
Maybe do some other kind of mods? Wheels tires (love the r888's) subtle body kit, coilovers call it a day. Some people will argue that meth injection may hurt performance more than it will help (without a tune), but meth injection + a full exhaust and a retune will net you quite a bit of power, if the car is bone stock as you state. You'll likely need injectors, and fuel pump at that point though.
