Crash bar solution for us large intercooler guys!
not sure how many of you have gotten rid of your crash bar due to intercooler. however i did contact Drift Armor about their "bash bar" and it turns out to be an amazing product. looks beefy and strong so i said lets give it a go. here are some pictures of mine installed with a treadstone TR1245 intercooler and still tons n tons of room to spare.
great product super customer service and shipped real quick. i know they can be had threw Enjuku racing (where i ordered mine) and shipped to my house within a week!
btw the bar comes unpainted. i painted it wrinkle black but did a shitty job will eventually pull off and redo. fits under bumper and is perfectly hidden without touching bumper.
AND it covers a wider area including under the headlights some.

Really nice piece
What's the price and weight with that thing? Also do you even use the styrofoam with it or is it that far out?

I believe it was 150 plus shipping at enjuku I would say it weighs maybe 15lbs if that. And no syrafoam required. I lost mine years ago so I didn't use it w stock crash bar either but it hides behind bumper really well and doesn't touch.

Airflow most likely not. It will increase airflow to areas not behind the opening of the front bumper... Which the only thing that really needs that I'd say is a FMIC... Maybe someone could get more out of their radiator with this? But the front support needs modification/bigger opening on the bumper to really get gains.
It's for Clearance Only........
I don't think so. The stock crash support is aluminum, this isn't. This thing may weigh more even... Either way I can't see much if any performance boost in any way by using this.

Its appears to be a simple L-bar welded to some tube construction.
If it was made of thick wall pipe (not tube) (highly doubtful) you could just weld your own tow hook mount onto it.
FWIW
Angle steel is about 12$ a foot for 1/4" thickness.
60" of 3.5"OD, 3" ID pipe is about 55$.
A local welder could make that for <100$ with much better material, if you wanted something more substantial
