So unless I am reading this wrong, they put a transmission on it to try and make it adjustable like a turbo?

pretty neat concept.

a 100$ boost controller on a turbo will do the same thing.

looks like they actively control the gear ratio to maintain boost rather than ramping to redline.


tried to find out more about competition mode, but its pretty vague. I guess that prolly just locks into the gear that drives the impeller fastest and prolly builds boost to redline like a normal centri supercharger.

theoretically you could ramp in boost to modulate your traction.

Kinda neat, but thats all basic turbo functionality
