Assuming you got the heads machined? Many people (including myself) have run the temp past 200*...You must have had some air bubbles in behind your thermostat...

what's your plan moving forward?

 

I must have, the car hasn't ran even close to 75% since the day I put it back together.

As for future plans IDK, I would love to part out the Motor and go with a LS but I may end up pulling engine sending it off the be gone over and just running NA for a while just to drive the car and them maybe Vortech or Turbo down the line.

Well many things have changed, i moved to Florida and found a shop down the road that will rebuild my motor. So no more LS talk LOL.

The blower is for sale but i don't know if it will get sold, if sold i will be going NA until i can find a Vortech or turbo kit for the right price.

Blower was just sold so now I can get my motor rebuilt and continue down a different path.

 

Well its a good thing my head gasket popped it potentially saved me from some really bad stuff down the line.
