^ lol. It's always tight. This engine bay was not designed for all the extra parts. It's just the way it is. The BW turbos take up a good bit of space. Props to AAM for making it work and for the OP on the execution. Checking the install over after a few miles to find the issues is the only way to be certain everything has been routed safely. Good job. My turbo kit was built on the car, all custom by Dynosty, with low mounted turbos. It is still a very, very tight fit.

-spliced in flex hose in my test pipes
-removed the AC (completely)
-eliminated/re-routed my hot-side coolant pipe
-revised the pre & post intercooler ducts
-removed my MAF housing/sensor
-rerouted the power steering line
yeeaaaa...right in, can't believe people are having problems...imagine that!

In a perfect world, every kit would just drop right in... But it's not and things need adjusted. For someone else pulling their engine, it might be a pain. I however can have it pulled in no time. Doesn't even bother me any more. This kit will perform. Just need to work out a few kinks. This thread is to help others who venture to install themselves.

You're all acting as this is a common occurance of having to pull your engine 4-5 times to deal with fitment issues... It's not, but it is a common occurance with the AAM kit. I'm surprised they even let you install the kit yourself.
Meanz I know you're cool with it as I've seen you talking about having no problems but for the people that are slightly disheartened from turbos after seeing what you've been with, there are other options that don't do this. Let these two turds deal with fitment issues and act like it's life. Being tight and fitment issues are two WAY different things...

yeah, my greddys just dropped right in, practically installed themselves...after I
-spliced in flex hose in my test pipes
-removed the AC (completely)
-eliminated/re-routed my hot-side coolant pipe
-revised the pre & post intercooler ducts
-removed my MAF housing/sensor
-rerouted the power steering line

Definitely not okay. Especially for the 10k price tag lol
Turbos are cool and all. But I'll continue dreaming. Maybe some tubes tunes and cams then I'm done

When are you getting it tuned?
How does it compare to the blower?

Not sure on tune date, need to save up some money first. So far, the turbos feel great compared to the blower. It's def a lot of fun to have a lot of power at 3500 instead of having to rev it on out. I think it's gonna be better than the blower once it's running 100% turned up.
