Got a pic of the blower installed, so I can see the clearances & fitment of everything around the blower, like bracket, pulleys, ect

Thanks,

Thanks for the kind words.

No dyno just yet, Car is street tuned at the moment, Haven't really been comfortable going full throttle with the YSi past 4k rpm, as I try to operate the car at light partial load/throttle only. Prefer to get it dyno tuned for max power to be safe so I can measure fuel pressure in a controlled environment, which I will do at Soho Motorsports.

Getting a Kenne Bell BAP because I need to push a high enough voltage to my Walbro 485lph in-tank pump to supply the added fuel flow needed with the boost demand. CJM twin pump has not come out yet, and I'm tired of waiting for it. I also want to do cams and headwork to rev higher in the future. I may get it tuned after the KB Boost-a-pump installation to see where I am in power/tq before attacking the heads though.

Abdulla with a V7-YSi-B (1950CFM) does not use a boost a pump, and he is at 800whp on a 255/455 CJM Twin. And that's on E85

Johnathan with a V2-Ti, is at about 710whp on 93 pump gas with a splash added of 100 octane, with a Single 485 CJM

Let me help you out before you add a bunch of stuff you don't need.

Something is not right with your calculations I think?

1. what are your WHP Goals?

2. Injector Size?

3. what fuel?

4. what intercooler?

5. Cog Pulley sizes

6. Serp Pulley Size

7. Stock Crank Pulley or?

Oldman, as i stated earlier i dont have a Twin Pump, and CJM has not released the new version yet. There are no Twin pumps for sale as they are sold out. So my other option is the Kenne Bell BAP along with my Single 485lph.

I dont know what i will be making, i assume at the very least 650whp before i anticipate fuel pressure fluctuations.

CJM Stage 2 FRS, Walbro 485,1600cc Injectors, E85, TR1245, 3.12/34T/28T+Fluidampr Crank Pulley. Plan to rev till 7100rpm

This is a shot from above, You can see im slowly removing the entire AC system stated earlier to have more clearance for 3 inch piping that will run underneath post intercooler and up the side of the drivers side to the 3 inch R-Rydes charge pipe.

Here you can see i cut some of the black metal on the right side that was in contact with the blower for added clearance

My Walbro 485 wasn't able to maintain fuel pressure after roughly 16 psi of boost from single 6266, I think that would've been less than 600whp too. The Kenne Bell BaP has all that sorted now, turned the car up to 20 psi and the pump has missed a beat yet.

Yes thanks to your results in your thread I will be going this route. I've also read on other platforms their success with the Kenne Bell BAP on their forums like the Domestics, Evo and Supra guys. Only downside is that it may or may not be linked to shorter Pump life. These Walbro 485s are not that expensive to replace so I'm not worried.

I'll pickup a 525 whenever I need to replace my 450 pump. Kenne Bell has made ridiculous amounts of power with a BAP and the 525 on Trackhawks

You guys with the good idea fairies Just looked it up, didn't know this pump existed.
http://walbrofuelpumps.com/walbro-f9...ve-tcd470.html

Looks like a great upgrade as well. Flow Rate: 470lph @ 40psi fuel pressure (120+ gph) @ 13.5 Volts, the 485lph flows 420lph at the same voltage/fuel pressure.

It was kinda funny when I removed my A/C system for the sole purpose of the car overheating. The bonus was being able to easily route 3in piping.

Sure having no A/C will suck, but the car would mostly be driven on the track anyways.

Lol i am running no AC atm, i want full 3 inch piping which i just need one straight pipe post intercooler along the drivers side behind the blower, just have some lines still hanging around in the bay i need to remove still. My AC is now made by spirited driving and the windows rolled down, ha.

Running AC delete is a gateway drug ... Today it's no AC, tomorrow it's no power steering, then later next week you decide you don't need an alternator...

It's funny because the power steering cooler has no flow and my PS boils fluid anyways. It's really tempting.

The one benefit of owning a vert. Well, the only benefit.

So I ordered everything last week for the fuel pump relay modification and KB Boost a Pump install ( Purchased the Street/Strip 17.5v version instead of the Competition 21v ), should all be here by friday evening. Definitly going to take my time with this as i dont wanna make a mess of things or do a halfassed install that works but doesnt look good. Put off getting the Walbro 525 until either this pump fails to deliver enough cornjuice upon dyno day or it fails, which ever comes first.
