What happened to the DreamWorkes SC?
On paper this SC sounds good - better than any other SC available for the 350z. But unfortunately it looks like that is as far as it got: paper.
I also saw some mention that Alpine Developments might actually be the company behind this SC. Is there any substance to that?
I want to know whether it is worthwile waiting for the DW SC, as it will be a good alternative to a TT, and we have Alpine Developments locally here [in South Africa]. The Vortech is being offered by Rob Green, but the torque curve of that SC is not attractive for normal street application.
Any info will be greatly appreciated.

There were a couple of guys from DreamWorkes at the Atco race day.
When I told them that people "were wondering about the status of the blower" I got a fairly long story about defects in the prototypes and new castings, etc. . .
When I suggested that some pictures of the prototypes installed on a motor (even if they were not perfect) would convince some people he seemed to miss the point. He went on talking about getting it right and getting numbers. When I said "how about a simple picture, just to see it." his answer was odd indeed.
He said something like "The pictures are posted, but they are on the other web site, which is not working right now."
At that point I stopped asking questions.
Honestly I have no idea what to think after talking to them. It could be a killer product or it might never happen. I don't know much more than I did before I talked to them.

The status is that it will be out in 30-60 days from now, just like the status was in November when they asked me to put 50% down to lock in a 10% discount off of the retail price.
In all seriousness, I wish them the very best--but man am I glad I didn't send them that money!!!

They have updated their site. They have been communicating with me on a regular basis. However, a couple days ago I informed them that I ordered Vortech. They were nice enought to come back with a "Good Luck" email.
I received a msg saying the possible delievery is in August.
It's still a quarter away from now ~~~~
The theory of design & paper time is over,
and It's time to see some test report of few pilot VQ35DE cars.

I was just in the Ukraine the other day and snapped a few pics of some of the many Dreamworkes systems that are all over the road. The Photomat says they will develop the film in 60-90 days if i give them a deposit...

From what I have heard they are trying to put together a supercharged 350Z for the SpeedWC GT series. They called about 2 months ago asking about our suspension we have on our GAC cars and cage pictures. They wanted prcing for all our suspension and then I have never heard from them again.
I guess well see.......
