question about injectors

Default question about injectors

m thinking about installing 440s, or at least 380s, in my car with the vortech, i need to know if im gonna have to redo all my fuel maps, or will the ones with the ones i use with the factory injectors work.

Yes you will need to re-map the R4. That is what Grubbs is doing for me this week.

Dfw350z...let us know if they have to do some thing with FMU and the aux. fuel pump . You will not have to run as high as psi and Im wondering if they will adjust it or what ever .....Bill

You will likely have to change the FMU washer so that it's 4:1 or 6:1 instead of 8:1.

That said, I think over the long term it is a good idea if you're going to push 9psi to increase the size of the injectors. Running the injectors at 100% duty cycle at inflated pressure for long periods of time will increase the probability of failure and reduce the efficiency of the supercharger.

I'm going to be selling my PE 380cc injectors very soon (this week), so PM me if interested.

Tig this is a good idea if you are boosting 9 PSI. If you don't end up buying from Zimbo, I know a place that sells them pretty cheap. (Gruppe S)

I wanna see how the SS box handles the bigger injecteers first . Dfw350z should find out this week

I went with 380's and they are fine for my application. I want to stay under 415rwhp with stock internals.
