yea the whole 6mm setup. it was all i could do in a timely and reliable fashion and i dont regret it. the components are more specialized and i didnt lose a dime after selling my other stuff. i think ferrea might have kinda hooked me up.

I saw someone asked this previously, but I didn't see an answer. Did you ever get any before and after flow numbers from the head work?
Are you interested in reselling the head work?

Ill tell you the whole story instead...
I have a couple sets of heads and a before/after comparison was not actually done to my ported heads because I was in a hurry and wanted them back. What is being done is we are going to do all the real testing on my second set of heads that I am gonna use as a core exchange. So basically I will have the flow numbers of it stock, ported, then ported with 1mm oversize valves. At that point they will be ready to be sold.
We are still working on trying to get my engine together. The ferrea valves ended up a little short like they always do, so we are trying to figure out what is going to be our best method for assembling the heads with Ferrea valves. So my heads are not on the block anymore, they are at a machinist who has to change the installed height (which we had in spec before but apparently spec isnt good enough, cause we couldnt get a lifter that large).
Also, my block is back at my machinists. Arias didnt do their R&D before selling their pistons so now my short block is back apart having the pistons machined and rebalanced to clear the oil squirters... They just every so lightly touch the oil squirters as is... meaning, they touch so light that I didnt even notice spining the engine by hand, but there is the most tiny little mark on the pistons where they were hitting.
This is getting a little out of hand. But as I have said every time someone asked the last 2 months... "Hopefully I will get the engine in the car in 2 weeks". I dont even care now tho, there is snow on the ground and I have too many customer projects to be worrying about my car too much...

no update... still waiting on main studs for my block.
The ones I originally used in my block we ended up using in a customers block with high hopes of getting his engine done just to have a huge let down happen there and so far on his engine we are out over one month just cause we are waiting for one single piston to be made... pretty rediculous if you ask me we were told it would be done in a week or so.... wish we would have just got different ones now.
So if our piston manufacturer ever gets us our last piston, or ARP ever decides to start shipping their main studs... I might have an engine done eventually.
Give me a few more weeks to have something.

Fortunatly I have so many things to keep me busy right now that I am not complaining too much... I will start complaining if it ever starts to look like I wont have my car tuned out before the last snow melts in Chicago... and I really have quite some time before that... once my main studs come in it will be just a matter of putting the engine back in the car and retuning.
