Default timing-NEED your HELP-PLEASE!!!

#1) so the install of the timing harness is fine, diodes and all... but i am still in the process of figuring out why the E-01 is not communicating w/ the e-manage, soon, i will know if it is simply because the USB cable is not connected... if it is connected, have you guys experienced some cables being compatible and others not???

next question...
#2) initializing the e-manage: this clears out the settings, right? what are the next steps from here....

#3) does anyone have the e-manage factory settings, so i can initialize, put in the factory settings and then tune from there???

also... is there an airflow map to compensate for the larger injectors???

THANK YOU ALL IN ADVANCE!!!

Once you initialize the eManage, you need to do a couple things.

1) Injector scaling in the parameters screen. Make it scale from 280-440

2) Add injector Map--input stock values...I dont have them handy...PM ETX or do a search....he posted them 6 months ago

3) Boost cut limiter: This is your voltage clamp, and it should be set to 5.0 across the board. THis way, your ECU will never see more than 5.0Volts of airflow.

4) Ignition timing map: This is where your tuner will retard the timing. Initially, it will contain all zeros in the map.

Thats all you need to mess with. The airflow adjustment map is not utilized for this application.

Here is a timing MAP I pulled off one os the MAPS I had in tool support, it looked like a little too much timing but it is a start, that is the problem with the emanage timing you really don't know when you are pulling too much, which why I like the J&S
http://www.sfzcc.com/gus/timing.tif

And if ETX can't get you the base MAPS, I have them in my laptop but I am waiting on a new charger

I can email the base maps to you . . . the file is too large to append (sorry, not too computer savvy ) . . . I'll check back in a little while . . . and BTW, you have your profile set to not have emails sent to you through the boards.
