Test drive both, thats what I did and went with a G. The Z is a great car, a little bit faster but the ride was too harsh for me and the extra room of the G has really helped me. I drove both a few times and then decided, price was about the same a couple K more for the G.

either is a good choice
both are good choices. It just depends whether or not you need the extra space. I decided to go with the G due to the back seat and the interior styling. The Z is also a very sporty looking vehicle. Just depends on what you really want!

I test drove both cars and I decided to go with the Z. Only because i didn't need the back seat and it felt more like a sports car. The G handles just as well and has the power too. I just like the looks of the 06 Z after changing their tail lights and new wheels.

I had a G35 sedan and went got a Z after a freak accident. But anyway. I love my Z so far. Had it for about a month. But I wanted a coupe originally. My opinion is it has a better mix of style and class. Each time I see it I just think to myself how sexy it is. I think that they perform almost about the same. G35 Coupe being a little heavier of course. The Z is a little cheaper. Thats why I went with the Z. I think the Z fits a 19 yr old a little better.

Had the Z, tons of problems, Nissan bought it back and now I have a G35 coupe and couldn't be happier. I do at times miss the overall sportiness and look of the Z. Although I love my G, I feel the Z has that exotic look to it. In the end I am happy with my G35 and the luxury side it has to offer as well as its looks.

u cant go wrong w/ either choice. after driving both many times i still couldnt decide. then i remember what a PIA nissans service dept was and went w/ the G. getting a loaner and better service was the key for me. plus the nissan dealer was a moron who didnt know anything bout the car, so that turned me off from the z.

I think they are equal, but have different options. It all depends on what you want your car to come with. If you option them out similarly, the price difference is pretty close, but you get extra things the Z doesn't get like a sunroof, back seat and better service. If you think you'll carry more than one passenger around, get the G35. My car is mainly for me and/or my wife. If we need to carry more people, we take the Volvo.

I am now the proud owner of an 04 "Z" and an 05 G35c. The wife liked my "Z" so much she wanted one of her own. Opting for a little practicallity we went with the one with a little more storage room and picked out an 05 G35c. After having drivin both for a few days the G35c is obviously much more comfortable, I'm a good sized guy and the Z seats are not comfortable for any length of time.
She couldnt decide between the BMW 3 series and the Infinity but after test driving one of each,G35c and BMW 325ci, she got back in the G35c again, as soon as she hit the gas she said "Oh Yeah, I want this one". The Infinity actually has a touch more leg room in the back(not head room) and the seats are much more comfortable than the BMW.
If you want a little luxury go with the G35c. If you dont need room or comfort go with the "Z". Dont misunderstand me, I would not give up my Z, I love it.

I love the G35 Sedans, but ya know, for being 20, of course you'd want the sporty look hahah. I own a Z, but after contemplating it for a while, I'm starting to consider a trade in for a '06 G35 Coupe. Having the extra room would definately help me out, but I'm really attached to my Z, hahah. I couldn't imagine letting her go. But if I do trade in for a G35c, it would be white with the spoiler, then minor engine mods 'n definately some 19"s gold rims. Phew that would be sa-weet. But I guess it's to each his own, drive both and decide whether you want practicality, or pure sportiness.
