my Z only pulled 232/225, and the Z is supposed to have 7 more HP
Check out the Dyno numbers from XXTuning elsewhere in this forum - I recall seeing Z's in the 240-245 range and also down 10-20 whp lower.

I think the Nissan marketing department had more of a role in saying the Z has 7 more hp stock than the G, having had both, I'd be hard pressed to feel the 0.1s 0-60 time difference I see in tests.

JDM had this thing about not rating any car over 280 for some stupid reason, I wish I could recall why - for cars like a Skyline even, the Japanese specs would say equivalent of 280 hp...something regulatory I think.

As you see on the dyno, there are just so many variables that really each car is darn close but unique. That's what makes them so darn fun

Yes, some high flow cats and headers are next. Maybe some high lift cams after that but its my daily driver though.

BTW, my tach is gets to about 6.8K before limiting.
