INJEN CAI Available for 350Z

Here are the Stats:
Maximum Peak HP 232.8 HP gain : +4.0 HP
Maximum Peak Torque 224.9ft-lb Gain: +5.2ft-lb
Maximum HP Gain vs. Stock: +7.6HP at 5500 rpm
Maximum Torque gain vs Stock: +8.1 ft-lb at 5500 rpm
...most important though, notice the gains are throught the WHOLE band...

It looks good and goes in front of the radiator. The install should not be hard just pull current airboc and route tube through hole. It seems it would not be too hard.

its a CAI meaning it goes down low away from the engine, where it can get cold air. USSUALLY this means you lose low end power since it has to draw air through the long pipe. but that doesnt appear to be the case here... very unussual.
things to be worried about is hydrolock, where water from a puddle or something splashes onto the filter and you potentially suck water up into your engine, not good. but this is just a standard problem, dont drive through deep puddles with a CAI.

Don't CAIs usually come with some sort of shut off plate for the heavy rain, etc? I know my fiance's did for his Camaro. Sometimes that's really needed to avoid that nasty hydrolock, especially for a daily driver.

I'll just make sure to use the K&N (b/c I've used them on every vehicle I've ever owned) and watch out for those questionable water puddles. 
yeah and they ussually do but the worry is with minor amounts of splashing wetting down the filter. its rare, but it can happen. thats why cai arent just "the thing" to have and short ram intakes are also common. warmer air from the engine bay, but no chance of water, and its still a larger smoother straighter pipe that hopefully pulls air from a cooler portion of the engine bay

Looking at the video - it seems as if they had to remove the front strut tower bar in order to make that thing fit - Personally I would not sacrifise handling for a minor (4hp) gain....
